I am rejecting this response because: they are not being transparent. As I was a regular customer there before this happened, they are lying. I have never walked out on a tab and tipped accordingly. I like the staff and the place thats why I ate there when I didnt feel like cooking. I left a blank check there to show total transparency of my willingness to pay. 
All I asked them to do once we came to the conclusion that the card went missing was to review the cameras mounted throughout the restaurant. I never argued with the staff, I simply was asking them to verify my giving them the card just minutes ago. Here is the kicker, if the card was never given to them then how come the merchant and customer copies were on a the little tray with out my card when I returned from the restroom? I've been to many restaurants and nothing like this ever happened.

The complaint, as filed, is completely inaccurate. The guest walked into the restaurant and after ordering a food at the bar, went to the restroom. When the guest returned from the restroom, he alleged that his credit card was stolen. The bartender informed him that no card had been presented or...

authorized for payment of the bill. The guest proceeded to argue with the manager and bartender alleging that his credit card was stolen by the bartender. The manager "comped” the bill because the guest stated that he had no other alternative payment source available. The guest left a blank check and note to the bartender to make the check out for any amount he wished.After the guest left the restaurant, he called the police and alleged that the restaurant had not only processed his credit card, but stole the card as well. This statement is not factual as evidenced by the police officer that responded to the complaint. All credit card transactions for the day were examined by the responding officer and manager on duty and it was verified that the alleged card was never presented or “swiped” for payment.When the guest (who was formerly a “regular”) returned to pick up his “blank check” he was asked by the manager not to return to the establishment as we do not take kindly to completely false accusations and made-up police reports.Bennigan's Restaurant

Review: I ordered drinks for me and a guest. When I got the itemized bill, the total was $6 more than the cost of all the items listed on the bill. The bill was deceptive in that it did not reflect the fact the the restaurant was charging me an additional charge per drink because I order my drink "straight up".

I don't object to the charge, what I object to is thinking I got a better price on my drink when I didn't.Desired Settlement: Bennigan's correct their accounting/billing system to show customers ALL charges being applied to their bills.
