Subje3ct to our conversation June 20,2017, which I apologize for my delay.Since Mr*** has not provided a sales slip in his claim and I have no recollection of the condition and circumstances regarding his watch .I replace approximately over to 20+ batteries daily at a cost of from $to
$10.00+ depending on the make ofthe watch.Ironically speaking,there are times that the malfunction of a watch is not resolved by a battery change.It is a situation where the watch needs to be serviced and I clari$' to the customer, but if they insist ona new battery contrary to my recommendation to service the watch, there is not much I can do..I cannot repair a watch for free or at the cost of a battery as many times a watch needs replacement parts., cleaning, ect...I am enclosing a check for $which includes the sales tax, I would have charged if Mr*** had in fact purchased an upgraded watch battery.I am also enclosing a stamped self addressed envelope so that you can mail the subject check to Mr***.I am soroa' Mr*** thinks lam a scammer, it isa free country and every one is entitled to their own opinion.I have been a Watch Master / Jeweler for over years and I have many loyal customers that frust me.I have out of state customers that visit my shop annually as they trust no one else or there are no Watchmakers in their town.I charge much less then the local watch repair shops installing quality batteries not cheap batteries My profession Is an extinct trade .At this time I have reduced my shop hours due to health reasons I am now semi-retired.I feel the responsibility to service my long established loyal customers.Conclusively Mr*** can take his business else where..I appreciate the patience of all concemed regarding my respond.
