Beno Associates Specialty Installations

Probably one of the worst companies to do business with. My wife needed her Nordictrack bike fixed and this company was recommended by a local exercise equipment shop. The company was quick to respond and charged a large fee to come out and inspect the unit however once the small part was ordered they decided not to come back. Multiple texts and messages with little to no response. When there was a response the excuses for not coming back were getting out of hand. After 2 months of frustration the owner hung up on us and said he would send us our money back and the "check is in the mail". There is no check and there never will be. Awful company.

On [redacted] 2015, their repairman came to my house to repair my treadmill. He was unable to do so, and said it needed a new motor. He told me that he would contact the treadmill manufacturer and request that they send a new motor, since it is only two years old. He wrote the information on the treadmill down (date of purchase, serial number, etc.) and assured me it would not be long, perhaps a week, before he would be able to return. I agreed, and he told me he still needed to charge $95 for the visit, which I paid. Over the next 6 weeks, I called them several times, and was told that they would have to get back to me. Finally, I called the treadmill company myself and they assured me that no one had contacted them about my treadmill. I contacted another treadmill repair person, who came out, diagnosed the problem, called the manufacturer while still at my house, and the items arrived in less than a week. He repaired it less than a week later. I feel that Beno Associates owes me a refund. They not only did not fix my machine, but failed to follow-up as promised. In short, they behaved in an extremely disreputable manner, and rendered no service whatsoever.
