After reading through this last letter from Joy we are not going to respond to that letterFirst of all, NO ONE has contacted us concerning her account and most of her letter is very inaccurate and I am not going to get into a “he said she said” back and forthThe charges that are outstanding are all legitimate and we are not going to be reducing them or recalling them from our collection agencyThank you, [redacted] Property ManagerBenrud Rentals

Just wondering with this last letter from [redacted] ) if you could supply me with a contact for her as we would like just to get her the information again to try and resolve this matterShe claims to have tried contacting us which she has notOtherwise she can certainly contact our office and if no answer leave a voicemail at [redacted] or email me at [redacted] We would really like to get this matter rectified for both partiesThanks, [redacted] Property ManagerBenrud Rentals

I have reviewed the response from Benrud Rentals
re: the complaint I filedI've been unable to find a location to respond to Benrud's responseI would like to explain why we have rejected their response to our claims#I have contacted them twice regarding the bill I received from a credit collection agency, they deny my attempts and refused to return phone calls I made to them#If I received Benrud Rentals first letter stating I would hear back within days of exiting the property, at our new house, why would they have difficulty contacting us after that? We completed USPS address move paperworkAll other mail was diverted to our new house, why wouldn't their mail? #Our landline telephone number didn't change until April 2016, we moved out of our Benrud property in July In April 2016, we stopped having a landlineHowever, They had my husband and my cellphone numbersThe cellphone was how most contact occurred between us and Benrud, phone calls and texting, while we live at their property, our cell numbers are still the same to this day#The Benrud property had doorsMain level- front door, garage door, bedroom, pantry, bathroom, laundryLower level- storage room, bedroom, bedroom and bathroomBenrud is claiming that eight out of the doors were damagedThe garage door was a steel door, it is safe to say that door was indestructible without serious force/tornadoWe noted at move-in, on the move in check list, four damaged doors (living room, pantry and two bedroom doors including that "almost all doors had holes in them." What does crediting three doors have to do with the fact that almost all the doors had damage prior to us moving inClaiming that the front door was damaged by "over-use" is a jokeHow do you over use a front door? If anything this door was under usedThe front door was used Monday through FridayUsed by our son when leaving for school and again when he got home from schoolMy husband worked the night shift and would be in bed before our son left for the daySo to say he exited quietly is an understatementThe garage door was used most oftenThe front door which Benrud claims was "over used" had a small glass window surrounded by a wooden frameWe contacted Benrud, due to the screws being rusted out and the glass window slid outThe door itself was in good conditionBenrud claimed that the whole door need to be replacedAt the time of our move out, only the frame had been replaced and the same glass window was re-insertedIs Benrud Rentals attempting to bill us for a door that was never replaced or one they think was "over used?" Please forward to the appropriate department and to Benrud Rentals for answers, as they have yet to contact us personally and if I contact them, they will deny it.
