delayed maintenance can add to tire wear. Upon completing the bearing repair, the front tires were rotated to the rear at no additional charge. The customer was informed that she would need tires. There are texts messages from the customr after the repairs that the car was in fact ok. There was no way of hearing the noise from the tires with the noise from these bearing(hub). The customer was shown and given a looking at the REMOVED bearing and saw for herself the noise and grinding of the part. It is not uncommon for customers to get vehicle issues resolved in intervals. The customer was made aware that she needed to change her tires. We put pads on because they were extremely low. The tires will not affect the bearing but the bearing will affect the tires.The customer would have benn given tires and allowed to pay later had she voiced concerns. But instead texted that all was well.
