Review: 1. $300 deposit in the form of check was sent to address for 50% of total cost after I received a written estimate. [redacted] cashed check on 6/14. 2. [redacted] never told me he received the check until I texted him on 6/18.3. [redacted] was supposed to be there on June 20th, he didnt show up and didnt call.4. June 21st I received a text message in which he said he had family issues.5. On June 22nd he said you would be at the house on June 24th at 12.6. On June 27th I had to ask how the 24th went, he never called to let me know. He said youd be going back out 7/1 at 12:00 to finish.7. On 7/1 the tenant living in the house called me to find out where [redacted] was. He answered and said he didnt want to go in the rain. I explained that the SALES CONTRACT for the house in contingent upon these repairs being made. He said he'd be there in 30-40 minutes. At 1:13 he still hadn't showed up.8. When we spoke again, [redacted] told me to tell the tenant to leave and that he would do the work from outside of the home. I asked him to call me when he left my home.9. I received no phone call, no text messages, and now he isn't responding to my phone calls or text messages.10. It was been eighteen days that he's had the money and he still hasn't completed repairs and isn't responding to messages or phone calls. I want my $300 deposit back immediately so that I can find a new contractor who will complete the work.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the deposit that I paid him for the work and I want other people to be warned about his business ethics.

After speaking with [redacted] from the company he stated he completed all the work according to the contract except for the window,because additional money was needed for the repair. The customer was provided all this information before the project began..
