Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Bikes and Benz never tried to help out with my tire situation They only told me that this is just how these tires are and that it was common and I was told the tires were not necessary to balance because of the size - the employee [redacted] told me that And as far as the clutches, I made it very clear that the work was not done right because I returned times the same day to get them adjusted, I was told they would wear in When speaking with the owner and brought this to his attention, he just said he was not giving me my money back and at this time, I have trust issues with this company The first time I have heard him say he will stand by his work, was in response to this claim Everything I have mentioned any issues, they have an excuse as to why something does not need to be fixed And yes, I have moved miles away, though, I continued to try to get this fixed before I moved in March I am not asking for all my money back, I am asking for the cost of having to repair their shoddy workmanship I have a letter from a dealership that specifies that the clutches were out of adjustment and clutch baskets out of specificationBottom line, I have replaced my clutches twice and I am working with the manufacturer for the tire realizing their is cost of mounting and balancingI am not trying to get extra money - I am trying to get them to pay for what they did not do correctly the first time Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:We need to clarify something. I had my clutches replaced. And the day I picked it up, I drove down the street - discovered it was not shifting right, turned around brought it back to the shop - *** did some adjustment - I drove off, then returned again, he did another adjustment - I did this times. *** then rode the bike and when he returned he said to give it time, the clutches need to wear in - it will just take time. This is not a bike that is ridden very often. When I moved and rode the bike again, and the clutches still did not work, I contacted the shop and *** said when the bike left it was in good working condition - but he was not there to make that assumption, it was only *** there that I dealt with and *** said I was not getting my money back. I then took it to another shop where they did the repair correctly -- they did the repair and it actually worked. nothing had to be worn in or wait until I drove it alot to then work. Again -- ***s shop did not repair properly and now I have had to repair again. Understand that I followed direct instructions - *** said the clutches needed time to wear in. The clutch issue is a workmanship problem - they did not repair correctly and I made them aware the same day I picked up the bike when the repair was complete.All I am asking is that they do what is right and reimburse me for what I have spent to correct the problem they caused.

The first we heard of this tire issue and the clutch issue was when the Mr *** called us a few weeks back....clutches are a maintenance item and will need to be adjusted during regular service intervalsonce again if we put the tires on our balance machine and they require no weights we would not put any weightsbut we have never told any of our customers that the tire is so big it doesn't need to be balancedI have already spoke to the dealership and let them know I would pay the 85.00 for the mount and balance as we definitely stand behind our work but the tire failure was not due to our workmanshipas far as the dealer letter it doesn't say we did something wrong just that the clutch plates were out of adjustment and the last adjustment was in October of 2017.. once again clutches are a wear item and are not covered by any warrantywe haven't seen Mr*** since last yearwe moved locations January 1st and has never once contacted us or been to the new shop to address his concernsso the first letter he wanted all his money back even though I informed him the tire is under warranty and now he wants part of his money back he also stated he tried to resolve this with us before he moved in march which we never talked to him aboutlike I said earlier I already have called the service writer and tech and let them know I would handle the tire mount and balance as far as the clutch plate replacement he is going to have to be responsible for themthere have been no excuses given just reasonable solutionswhich Mr *** doesn't want to accept. ALL WORK WAS COMPLETED AND APPROVED BY CUSTOMER AT TIME OF DILVERYWE DID TRY TO BALANCE BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR TIRES BUT NIETHER FRONT OR REAR TIRE REQUIRED ANY WEIGHTS..AND NO WEIGHTS IS IT IS POSSIBLE.. SO NONE WERE INSTALLEDAS FAR AS THE MANUFACTURED DEFECT HE IS COMPLAINING
ABOUT IT IS COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER.AND FURTHER MORE WE WOULD MOUNT AND BALANCE THE NEW TIRE FOR FREE BUT WE WILL NOT PAY ANOTHER SHOP FOR MOUNT AND BALANCE AS I STATED TO STEVEN WE DONT MAKE THE TIRES WE JUST INSTALL THEM ..AND THEY WERE INSTALLED MORE THAN A YEAR AGO FROM THE DATE OF THIS COMPLAINTWHEN HE CALLED US THERE WAS NO TALK OF SOULTIONS FOR THE REAR TIRE JUST WANTED ALL HIS MONEY BACKTHERE IS A WARRANTY PROCESS WHICH ALL OF US DEALERS HAVE TO FOLLOWHE DOESNT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT ..IF HE CALLS THE MANUFACTURER THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO DIRECT HIM TO A LOCAL DEALER WHO CAN HELP HIM COMPLETE THE WARRANTY PROCESS AS FAR AS THE CLUTCH PLATES BEING INSTALLED WRONG OR ADJUSTED WRONG THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO DO SOAND ONCE AGAIN WE WOULD GLADLY STAND BEHIND OUR WORK BUT WE HAVENT SEEN HIM SINCE NOVEMBER AND WHEN HE WAS HERE NONE OF THESE ISSUES WERE BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTIONITS VERY EASY FOR ANOTHER SHOP TO SAY SOMETHING WAS DONE WRONG AND NEEDS TO BE FIXEDI DID ASK HIM TO SEND US THE DAMAGED CUTCH PLATES SO WE CAN INSPECT THEM BUT NOT SURE IF THEY HAVE BEEN REPLACED..BUT WE HAVENT SEEN THEM AS OF THE DATE OF THIS RESPONSEHE HAS MOVED AWAY FROM OUR AREA ALMOST MILES..WE STAND BEHIND ALL OF OUR WORK
