Berberian European Motors

Review: I took my 2006 mercedes-benz s500 to this place to check the car's stereo. The time of pick up there was additional damage to stereo structure.

On July 24 I took my Mercedes Benz S500 car to Berberian motor to check the stereo, because it wasn't working. Mr. [redacted] emoloyee of this place took my work order & told me we will charge $150 to check on stereo. I left my car over there and he told me he will give me a call back and let me know. Next day Mr. [redacted] called my husband and told that we need a new stereo for the car and it will cost $6200. My husband said we can not afford that much money for a new stereo now. Mr. [redacted] said ok! & told my husband they will put the old stereo back and you can pick up the car later that day. So I picked the car from there and on my way back I noticed there was a piece missing on the structure of the stereo. I called the place to let them know about it but they were already closed. I called them next morning and told Mr. [redacted] about that missing part. Mr. [redacted] told me to bring the car back when you can and they will check. I was little busy because of the weekend, so I took the car back on monday 7/29, after work. Mr. [redacted] wasn't there and Mr. [redacted] one of the worker there took the picture of the car stereo and told me he will give this to [redacted] & will explain him about missing piece. Next day I called [redacted] to ask about it and he told me to check the car throughly, may be that missing piece is in the car. I was at work that time and that car was at home. After work me and my husband both checked the car but we did not find that missing piece. Then we call [redacted] again and told him that we already checked the car its not in there.

Mr. [redacted] told me to bring the car back to them one more time. My husband asked him why we have to bring the car back n forth when we already came there and mr. [redacted] took the picture and checked it. My husband told him its 15 miles drive from my house to there coming and going. who will be paying the gas and my time, when its not even my fault. mr. [redacted] told me all he can do, he can try to find out that missing piece from junkyard. "but he can not give any guarantee for that". when my husband asked him what he mean by that " who is responsible then"? he simply said they are not responsible for that damage and hung up the phone.

After he hung up the phone on my husband, I called the credit card company, which I charge there to pay $150 & stopped that payment to berberian motors.Desired Settlement: I want them to either put the missing piece or give me the expense to fix that, so I can take my car somewhere else to fix it.
