Review: I bought a mattress and foundation on 3/10/2005. I was told that it had a 20 year warranty te first 10 full coverage and 10 prorated.Not long after I called them and said mattress waslow and they sent me a topper and said that will fix it. Now it is really breaking down so I email them and talked to 2 people who said it would be handle and would call back. No call back 1 offered to repair it if I set up an appointment and took it to the company. I said it needs replaced and I need a bed I am disable. And now have mold on bottom of matttress. Last call on 9/12.Desired Settlement: I would like a new set to replace defective one.

We received your email concerning [redacted]. He stated that we sent him a

pad, which is not true, as you can see we sent him a complete mattress on Invoice #4621

less the fabric cover. Also a leg pillow at no charge. We offered to repair his mattress as

it states in our warranty if he would bring it here. He said he is disabled and can’t bring it

and as you can see on Invoice #895 he was able to pick the mattress up. In reading his

complaint he stated that he has mold on the bottom of the mattress. I suspect that body

fluid has penetrated the mattress and settled on the bottom creating mold. We have never

had an instance of mold on the bottom of our mattresses. Also as I stated that we would

repair the mattress, however in our warranty it states that the warranty is void if the

mattress is abnormally soiled or unsanitary. No one in our plant would handle such a

mattress in that condition nor would I ask them too.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9724762, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have never had a problem with a bed before.The mattress is defective it is breaking down and have mold. I was at the plant and was told how they are made an if one is bad they melt it down and remake the bad ones. Yes a new set was sent in 11/30/2005 but the top and botttom do not lign up top is smaller. I also have a back problem now and can not lift things. As for body fluids sweat is all that could be there so the product is not right and how can it be repaired ? I wa nerver told that I would have to take it back for repair if it failed. Yes now they show the warranty but this was never shown before. If they sent one before because one went bad wht can't they send a new on this one is not right and should be replaced so I get what I paid for.

Review: I purchased a foam mattress from B[redacted] on 3/30/11. Just recently in June 2015, we moved the mattress off the box spring to do some cleaning. We stood it up against the bedroom wall for an hour before putting it back. When we put it back we noticed that the bottom of the mattress had a large hump in it. It looks like the foam shifted to 1 end of the bed. We waited 30 days to see if it would settle back into place but had no luck. I decided to call B[redacted] for assistance, left 4 messages that were never returned. After speaking to someone on 2 occasions, I was forwarded to Saul's voicemail, but he never called back. Finally after these attempts I got Paula on the phone and expresses my frustration. She listened to my story and said she would call me back when she was able to find my receipt. She never called back. I called back days later and she found my receipt and said she would forward the info and pictures of what happened to the appropriate person. 2 emails later and I still haven't heard from B[redacted]. The mattress is still under warranty. I paid 2170.88 on 3/29/11.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the warranty fulfilled, whether they send me a replacement, repair the current mattress at their expense, or issue a refund.

Review: Purchase a Queen size [redacted] mattress ($899) after LOVING my brother's identical mattress. It came with a 90-day sleep guarantee. This mattress is NOTHING like my brother's; something has changed drastically since he bought his several years ago. Mine is far too stiff to sleep on. We contacted the seller within 2-3 weeks --- well before the 90 return period, after much difficulty getting through their phone system (unable to leave messages --- videotaped several unsuccessful attempts). We have been chasing down "[redacted]" ever since and never have spoken with him. He emailed something about having a "softer" cover, but I do not want to invest another penny on a dud bed! We *finally* got a shipping quote for the cost to return the bed --- nearly $300. But despite multiple attempts to arrange a return, the company has not responded. I am in and out of town. We just spent $200+ to buy a padded mattress cover AND a featherbed to try and get some rest (we spent more than a month out on the couch because this mattress is THAT uncomfortable. Finally, we are able to get some sleep, albeit still fitful. This company has a "guaranty" and they should buy this bed back at their own expense, it is that bad. Paying $300 for a "90 day sleep trial" is hardly what it suggests. This bed came rolled up on a box, delivered by UPS. But customers cannot get it so tightly-compacted in order to return as such --- we need to send it via freight. That is unconscionable and should be disclosed up front. We bought this bed fully intending to keep it, having LOVED my brother's identical mattress. We even had the company look up the exact model he had so we could make sure we got the same. This is not a matter of never having tested the product before. I've never seen such poor customer service though.Desired Settlement: Full refund; I will return or donate the mattress, at [redacted]/Bergad's expense.

Our customer wants her mattress to match her brothers. The foam beds

Soften after a period of time is why her brothers bed is softer.

We can send her a softer pcs of foam to try and if that works

we can send a new cover to enclose the new foam and existing mattress.

If she doesn’t like this solution all that we can do is accept the return of her

Mattress. She is only responsible for the return freight.

I want a bed that I can SLEEP on. This one is so miserably hard that my husband and I alternated sleeping on the couch for the better part of the first 30 days, hoping it would soften up, as the manufacturer insisted it would. We have spent more than $200 additional to buy a featherbed and a feather mattress cover, hoping to make it soft enough to sleep on. That has only helped marginally. This bed is apparently defective ... or the company has drastically changed its production. Regardless, I have left NUMEROUS calls and emails to the company and received only one response in many months, with no reply to my further emails thereafter. Consumers should be forewarned about this company's abhorrent customer service (or lack thereof) before they buy a product with a money back guarantee, only to find out later, once they realize the product is defective, that it will cost $200+ in shipping just to return it. That is hardly a guarantee at all! I will use social media to spread my experience, since the company refuses to resolve this amicably.
