Review: I went to get air for my tire and get one repaired. They take the tire off to repair and say I need brakes. I ask how much they said 100 (parts and labor). I agree. They call their supplier and he brings over some brakes. I ask to see the parts or at least what's the make/model of the brakes they are suing. The mechanic on duty says don't worry we use the good stuff. I know the guy and he reassures me he'll do a good job. After a long wait for the delivery, he changes my brakes really quick. I go up the street to my house. Over the next couple of weeks the brakes begin to squeal, really loudly. I take my car back to the shop after picking up my son. The mechanic on duty takes it for a test drive, with my son still in it and agrees that shouldn't be happening. He puts it up on the lift. The owner, [redacted] (the guy with the red hair) was upset about that and told the mechanic to hurry it up. He's not making money on this. The mechanic returns the car to me after about 30 minutes. He says there was a lot of dust on the brakes and that was causing the squealing and squeaking. It should be fine now. On Friday, June 26th, I drove down the hill brakes loudly squealing pass the tire shop. The mechanic says "you need some brakes!" I yell, "I did get new brakes, remember you did them." I believe this shop is using subpar parts to make repairs. That would be fine if they told the consumer. If you wanted to go cheap at my own expense, that would be on me. They are doing poor work on cars. Also, the prices are not advertised and fluctuate depending on who you are. The owner said to me that day I got my brakes done, if I charge your card I have to charge you taxes but if you pay cash, I don't have to charge you." At the time, it didn't seem problematic. So, I went to the ATM at the corner store and withdrew $100.Desired Settlement: I would like them to fix my squealing brakes.
