The customer who made the complaint about the water in the gas did purchase premium gasoline on 8/7/He came back to the station shortly after that and spoke to one of my employees who told him I, the owner, was not in at that time. My employee explained we do check our tanks regularly and
had not found any water in the gas. My employee told the customer to come back that afternoon when I would be at the station. He did not return that day to talk with meWe did investigate further and discovered the water detection paste we were using was not the correct type for the 10% ethanol
gasolineWe have corrected that situation and did find
water in the premium gasolineA check covering the cost of the repair was given to the
