Upon receipt of this
complaint, I notified the *** *** *** *** of our Bergstrom Chevrolet,
Buick, GMC, and Cadillac dealership in Oshkosh, Wisconsin of the guest’s
concerns and asked him to investigate.
He determined that the vehicle was a used vehicle and consulted with the
Used Car Manager, who reported that he thought the vehicle had been sold “as
is.” Unfortunately, the Sales Consultant
who sold the vehicle to the guest is no longer with our company and unreachable
to determine if any warranties had been implied. As a goodwill gesture, we invited the guest
to bring in the vehicle and we would fix the areas of peeling paint at our

Review: In less than a few months of owning the vehicle, the paint had begun to peel on the driver's side.Desired Settlement: Repair the peeling paint on the driver's side or provide funding to repair the paint.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

My dream vehicle was made possible by [redacted] just over a week ago. I originally went to take a 2008 jeep wrangler for a ride but wasn't satisfied enough. [redacted] came in on his day off just so I could check it out in person. After leaving the office, he continued to look at his other locations & went to Green Bay to find exactly what I desired. The connection my mother & I felt with [redacted] made us feel safe in my purchase. Financing my Jeep through Bergstrom was affordable with [redacted] who could match my bank's offer. I have never been so happy as I am now that I made all of these right choices!
