*** *** is a customer that we have done a lot of work for last yearAll the work that was done *** overseen personally(more than the home owner and more than I would like) The only complaint that has any merit is about the roof on the north side of the homeIt is a steep
roof that faces the north and the shingles are taking a long time to lay down and seal.(no direct sun light) The shingles are laying on 1xdecking and the house had two layers of shingle before. Part of the possible problem may be the framing and decking. *** paid the contract accept for the roof and some extra charges that he requested. He had stated that if the Owens Corning Rep came out and reassured him that the roof had the proper manufactures warranty he would pay the bill and I agreed to come back in the summer if the shingles didn't look better and tear off the area and replace the 1xdeckingAnd the only added cost would be the labor and materials of the decking. We meet with the Owen Corning Repand she explained that the Shingles would be under warranty even if they were nailed to a tree*** still refused to payWe are taking *** to court for the unpaid balance, late/interest, attorney fees, and court cost.
