They continue to charge me for Dietary Keto, even though I wrote them an email on August 31st, canceling it. I want immediate cancellation and refund of $
I placed my first order because it was free. Then they sent me another one, I kept the pills, but I sent them an email, on August 31, asking for the IMMEDIATE cancellation of the product. recently (dated August 19) I was charged again and I have not received the product as of today (September 21). I have called twice and they only answer me in English. I asked my nephew to call and he has done so several times, at different times of the day and they leave him on hold and no one answers. They have not answered my email either. I DO NOT want the product. I want IMMEDIATE cancellation AND MONEY BACK. AND TO ANSWER EMAILS AND CALLS.

Desired Outcome

Cancelación INMEDIATA y devolución de dinero. Y que tengan la educación de contestar , porque para cobrar estas rapiditos. Google Translate: IMMEDIATE cancellation and money back. And that they have the education to answer, because to collect these quickies.

I am trying to return an unopened product that was shipped to me for a refund, but the company won't supply me with a return address.
I contacted Berkeley Dietary to return an unopened product that was sent to me. Even though their terms of agreement state that returns are accepted within 30 days as long as the product is unopened, I was told that they do not accept returns. When I told them what their terms of agreement said, they refused to give me an address and said again that they don't take returns.

Desired Outcome

I would like you to get an address that a I can send the product to, so I can get a refund. I will gladly pay for the shipping. I just cannot afford $180 for a product that doesn't work, especially now with both my husband and I unemployed.

To Whom It May Concern,

After reviewing ***'s complaint, we want to apologize for any confusion she may have had when she placed her order. We offer a trial period for our products, we allow our customers to try our full 30 day supply for only the cost of shipping and handling for a limited time of 14 days. Once the trial period expires, if not cancelled, you are billed the retail price of the product you received. We do not offer sample sizes. The reason we send a full 30 day supply to try is because of the overwhelming response and feedback from customers who love the product, and want to continue seeing their results.

Upon reviewing ***'s account, it looks like she sent us an email on September 10th requesting to return the product for a refund. As a courtesy, we have waived the return for her and processed a refund for the August transaction of $85.90 minus the restocking fee of $10.00. *** is also is not required to return the products she received. The refund may take 3 - 10 business days to process before posting to your financial institution account. We are committed to providing our customers with the best service and apologize for any inconvenience. We hope this resolves Ms. concern.

Sincerely,
Customer support

Though I appreciate Berkeley Dietary responding to my complaint, I am disappointed with their action. I would like to be reimbursed for both products ( *** and *** that were sent and billed to my credit card, for the amount of $175.90. I can understand that they want to deduct a restocking fee of $10.00 for each product, but that would mean that I should be receiving a refund of $155.90 not $75.90.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I still have not received any acknowledgment to my last email to the Berkeley Dietary Co. sent on September 15th to the Revdex.com and forwarded by them on September 16th. As previously stated, I only received reimbursement for one of the 2 bottles of supplements sent to me by Berkeley Dietary. I would like to be reimbursed for both. I don't want this case closed until I receive it.

Contesting an unauthorized charge of $85.90 to my bank card. I am not a subscriber to NutraSmart Life.
I authorized a 1 time only shipping payment for a free trial offer to NurtraSmart Life.

I did not receive an email confirmation from the company nor did I do a long term membership or subscription to NurtraSmart Life.

When previewing the free trial data I did not see anything about subscribing. I did check the box regarding newsletter and information "Did not want to receive any future info"

Desired Outcome

I want an immediate refund of $85.90 for NutraSmart Life. I do not want any more payments made to NutraSmart Life. I cannot find out how to contact the company directly since there are so many different sites when googled.

I requested info about an unknown transaction, to cancel and refund within 30 days. No response and the cancellation was automated.
I wish I read the company's reviews before ordering anything from them. This product had low reviews on Amazon as well so I should not expect much from this company. I ordered a sample bottle on January 1st and the item shipped on the 6th. I received an odd charge with a different transaction title from my bank on or around 1/17/20 requesting the company to confirm the transaction. I then reached out again on the 1/28/20 with no response so I called in to discuss the issue. I was prompted by the automated machine to cancel without speaking to anyone. I also filed a dispute from my bank since there was no response or confirmation from the company to verify the unknown transaction without a confirmation. Oddly I can only locate my order confirmation and there is no mention of this transaction. Like any concerned consumer, I filed a fraudulent claim with my bank as I have no information on this transaction. The only contact information I received was once from a member regarding my cancellation and asked for me to call about the refund. There is no mention to confirm the transaction and I was already having Chase investigate this issue. I spoke to someone at this company today after the transaction was finally verified 2 months later by my bank and sure enough it was tied to Berkeley. I reached out again with a handful of emails to advise on next steps and of course no response. I then had to call in today angry due to the number of times I'm dealing with this company and no resolution. I was told today by a very rude customer service supervisor that will speak over you saying that I did not request the refund. Oddly I pull up my phone to open my correspondence with this company and I verified over the phone that it was requested within 30 days. I corrected her assumption knowing that I was on my phone without email access. She then acknowledged the request and proceeded to add a different explanation for not approving a refund. She then informed me that the fraudulent claim investigation and for me to not call in again to discuss the refund disqualified me from the option all together. This company is a scam and has no commitment to the timeframe of a 30 day money back guarantee. They'll find one excuse after another to mislead a consumer and I find this very frustrating. I should not be contacting a company so many times to investigate the unknown pending transaction and no email confirmation, to requesting a cancellation three separate occasions and lastly a refund request within 30 days. I asked for a record or missing emails that I cannot locate anywhere in my inbox and a confirmation to verify the transaction on my bank account. Apparently, she said we should have it but I have to now email support again for the emails. At the same time I had to call in again to request a refund from the support email. As you can see they'll send you around and around with uneducated answers. Anyways, I hope my poor experience with this company will shed some light on the scam for consumers.

Desired Outcome

I doubt they'll process a refund. However my email should provide proof that I requested it. I wanted the bank to verify the claim to confirm it's the merchant and not fraudulent. I want to bring awareness to this issue with this merchant.

To whom it may concern,
We have reviewed Ms. complaint and searched through our database to locate an account for her. We were successful in this and can confirm that her trial for Berkeley Dietary Keto was initiated on January 1, 2020 for the shipping cost of $6.98. After her trial period ended she was then added to our monthly subscription program and billed for the 30-day supply of our products in her possession. Our trial terms are explained on our website but we are very sorry if there was any misunderstanding upon placing your order. Our records show that Ms. has disputed the charge and will therefore be receiving the credits she is seeking from her financial institution. I have also attached the email sent to Ms. offering a discounted rate prior to cancellation in which Ms. did not respond, therefore her account had been left active until Ms. confirmed the cancellation and did not want to continue at a discounted rate. We would like to offer our sincerest apologies for the trouble this has caused her and hope that this resolves the issue.

Sincerely,
Customer support

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I understand that I ordered the product on 1/1/20 and I've received the item with the option for a 30 day refund option. I did send an email on 1/17/20 requesting confirmation of the unknown transaction in my bank account, if I had an active subscription and to cancel it. I don't see it in my email requesting to continue my subscription on 1/17/20 and I don't see a request in my email requesting a discounted product. I am unable to locate the email from the business on 1/18/20 to verify this information and I addressed the no response in my email to the business on 1/28/20. I received no response so I called the business on 1/28/20 and I was directed by the automated machine to cancel my account. I have contacted the company more than once in January requesting this cancellation and it is within 30 days as advertised when I purchased the bottle. I have not received a credit and I was told that I need to call back in after contacting the company more than three times in their email on 1/29/20. I am not certain why the business would assume after my emails that I would like to continue my subscription after requesting a cancellation more than once within 30 days. I should have qualified for the refund. At this time I don't have a credit from this business and I did not receive a refund within 30 days after cancelling my account. I want more customers to see this issue as this is misleading advertisement and there is no customer service support.

I received a free trial of 2 of this company's products. As of 2/29/2020 and 3/1/2020, my checking account was debited the amounts of $90.92/$85.90.

I also received an email from a woman by the name of Jessica. She said that she would offer me a quicky membership deal, and if I wanted to cancel I could. I emailed back, and no response. I submitted screenshots for my account being debited the money and still no response. Tried calling and no response either.

Desired Outcome

I would like the full amount refunded to my checking account and the account closed.

To whom it may concern,

After reviewing Mr. complaint, we want to apologize for any confusion. Our customers are demanding a more flexible utilization model, so we have transitioned to the monthly subscription-based schedule. This allows our active, on-the-go professionals the convenience of automatically receiving their diet regimen. They are given a 14-day trial period to decide whether or not our product meets their needs, for only the cost of shipping and handling. After the trial, they are then charged for our stellar products at the full retail price for the trial shipment and enrolled in our subscription-based schedule that is agreed to on the terms and conditions of their offer.
At this time we can confirm the account was cancelled on March 2, 2020 per Mr. request. The transactions in question were also voided out on that day. Mr. was fully aware that these charges were removed from him bank statement per our customer service and email departments who have all informed Mr. that the charges were removed from him statement. I have also included a screen shot of Mr. communications with our team.
We would like to again sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Sincerely,
Customer Support

The money was refunded and the account was closed. I want this to negatively affect this farse of a business

I ordered a free sample of the product and paid $6.95 for shipping. Of course they needed my credit card #. I received the samples and they did nothing so I thought that was that. On Feb 12th I checked my credit card balance, I had two charges, one for $90.92 and one for $85.90. I called the company and told them I did not want anymore product and they told me that all orders had been cancelled. I got an e-mail from them saying such. I checked my credit car statement on Feb 23 rd and the charges were still there. I e-mailed them and got no response so I called and talked to Lance ( *** ) and he told me that they would not refund my money even though the product was never shipped. After a rather unpleasant discussion he agreed to refund 30%. So even though he knew no product was shipped he would not remove the remaining charges. So as of right know I am out the balance of the charge when no product was shipped.***

To whom it may concern,

After reviewing Mr. complaint, we want to apologize for any confusion. Our customers are demanding a more flexible utilization model, so we have transitioned to the monthly subscription-based schedule. This allows our active, on-the-go professionals the convenience of automatically receiving their skin regimen. They are given a 14-day trial period to decide whether or not our product meets their needs, for only the cost of shipping and handling. We do not sell or market sample items as they are not manufactured for sample sizes. After the trial, they are then charged for our stellar products at the full retail price for the trial shipment and enrolled in our subscription-based schedule that is agreed to on the terms and conditions of their offer.
Whenever an order is placed with us, there is a confirmation email that is sent out to the email address the customer provides upon placing the order. This email includes an order summary along with their account number and the trial details.
Upon further review of Mr. account, he did contact us on February 24, 2020 and requested to have his account cancelled. Mr. requested a refund so he was given the option of a partial refund for $35.98 and $31.47- this is a 45% refund or a return, Mr. agreed to the partial refund and it was then issued by our customer service team on that day. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, as a onetime courtesy, we have refunded the difference back to Mr. even after he agreed to the refund given on a recorded line. This will give him a total reimbursement today of $109.36. Please allow 3-7 business to reflect back into the account on file, Mr. will also receive a refund confirmation email and we have waived the return policy. In addition, his account with us is inactive; therefore, he will not receive any further shipments. We would like to again sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Sincerely,
Customer Support

The company is being less than honest. Their add very clearly states " free sample". Nothing about trial periods, etc. Since they are not honest and deceptive in their advertisements, I am sure this is probably the best we can hope for. I don't know how they can sleep at night!

The Berkeley Dietary company, which was advertised on Facebook, will show they have a no obligation dietary supplement, but once you purchase the shipping and handling of the items it automatically puts you on a monthly subscription. In addition, they offer no telephone or website information that lets you cancel this subscription. I had to cancel my credit card and get a new one issued, in order to be rid of this company. This is a complete scam. Buyer Beware.

They charged my credit card $100.00 without my knowledge when I called multiple times they hang up everytime
They charged my credit card $100.00 without my knowledge when I called multiple times they hang up every time, when called various numbers on-line they hang up when you try to place a complaint

I want to cancelled everything and get refund of $100.00

To Whom it May Concern:

After seeing Ms. complaint, we are very sorry for any misconception. We have a monthly subscription program, with terms and conditions listed on our website, and allow our customers to start their membership on a trial basis for the cost of shipping and handling. After the 14-day trial period ends, per the terms of the subscription, if you do not cancel you are charged for the product in your possession and enrolled into our monthly program; which was created to save our customers the time of placing a new order every 30 days to continue pursuing their weight loss methods.
After reviewing her account with us, we can certify that Ms. trial began when she placed an order with us January 18th for the shipping costs of $6.98 and $6.94. After her trial ended on February 3, 2020, she had a Chargeback Protection charge posted and on February 10, 2020 her Chargeback Protection charge was captured in the amounts of $85.92 and $90.92 for the products that were shipped to her and added to our subscription catalog. We are unable to issue a $100 refund as there is not a charge from us for $100. We are also sorry to hear the difficulty you described having in contacting us. It looks like Ms. used our IVR system, an automated system chosen in lieu of speaking to a live agent. Since our documentation shows that *** never reached out to us to request a refund or to cancel her account, it seemed fit to us that Ms. was enjoying using our products and receiving them monthly. We can confirm that her subscription with us has been cancelled so she will not be charged any further.

Sincerely,
Customer Service

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They cancelled my subscription after you contacted them, and the charges went through my credit card. I call them numerous times to cancel and they kept hanging up on me. today I finally had an operator talk to me. I explained everything and would only give me a 75% refund. Which I guess have no choice to accept. I think they are a rip off and conveniently do not answer within the 14 days.

They say I signed up for a subscription simply by placing an order
Product: berkley dietary keto pills and Berkley forskolin pills.
Date ordered:12/31/2019
Called in about unauthorized charges:1/18/20.
They say I didn't call to cancel my trial period so they automatically signed me up for a subscription and placed two charges from two different companies; maxhealth dietary and nutrasmartlife. Would not give me a refund until I had my bank on the line saying that we will dispute the charges. Then they hung up and took off the hold on my money from my checking account

Desired Outcome

They should have disclaimers about their subscription

Berkeley Dietary Response • Feb 06, 2020

To whom it may concern,

We have reviewed Ms.' complaint and we would like to apologize for any miscommunications on our part. Our company has adapted to the monthly subscription model due to popular demand. Once you place your order with us, you are given a 14-day trial to see how you like our product for only the price of shipping and handling per the terms of the agreement that are accepted. After this period of time if you don't call to cancel, you are enrolled into our program and set to receive new shipments every 30 days. Our terms and conditions are listed on our website but we do apologize if there was any misunderstanding here.
Following our research into her account with us, we have found that Ms. began her trial with us on December 31, 2019 for the shipping cost of $13.92. After her 14-day trial ends, she would be charged for the retail price of that product she received at $90.92 and $85.90. After reaching out to us via customer support on January 18, 2020, her account was cancelled and both pre-authorized charges of $90.92 and $85.90 were voided and would have fallen off her bank statement. Furthermore, we can verify that her account with us is cancelled so she will not be receiving any further shipments from us. We hope this settles Ms.' complaint and want to again apologize for any trouble this has caused her.

Sincerely,
Customer Support

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I received an unknown package in the mail around the middle/end of December 2019, I didn't open it because I didn't remember ordering anything. I looked at my bank account and realised there were 2 charges for $6.95 for some pills of some sort, that I did not order. I assumed thats what was in the package so I just took it the post office to have it returned to sender. I then noticed 2 charges pending on my account totaling around $175 for these same pills. I researched in my email and noticed a few emails from [email protected] in my spam folder. I sent them an email on 12/31/19 letting them know I sent it back and would like a refund because I never made this purchase. They sent an email back on 1/3/20 saying they cancelled the subscription and no other product would be sent or billed but that it clearly states that all orders are final. I emailed back with the concern that I never even made this purchase therefore was unaware of their policy and to please fix this situation. They never responded. I did notice that the pending charges were gone off my account at that time. Then on 1/8/20 I saw that the 2 charges were taken out of my account, 90.92 on 1/7 and 85.90 on 1/8. I have emailed them back but don't expect a positive response. I truly do not know how this order was made but I assure you it was not by me. I am asking for a refund on an order that I never made and I don't have that kind of money to just let them have.

Refund I would like them to understand that somehow this order was placed without my knowledge therefore I never saw their policy on contacting them before the trial was up and that all sales are final. I would like them to fix this mistake and issue me a full refund.

not good company. Dont make it clear that "free" bottle of Keto is a 14 day trial. The 100% money back guarantee is only if you return the product unopend. After the 14 day trial is over they charge $90 for the Keto and $85 for the forskolin. If you submit the order it also includeds the forskolin and no where to refuse it.
