Review: I filed online for my local taxes on 1-26-2013. My return was accepted (via confirmation email from Berkheimer) on 1-26-2013. On 2-13-2013, I sent an online request to find out the status of my return/refund. In the past, it was direct deposited within a 2 week period so I was unsure was the issue is. Berkiheimer responded that they needed copies of my W-2 because some of the money that I claimed was withheld (according to my W2) was not received by them. I sent them my W-2 via email scan on 2-20-2013 - in response to an email from "[redacted]". I again emailed Berkheimer on 3-17-2013 for an update and received a response on 3-19-2013 they they forwarded my return to their processing department on 2-28-2013. On 3-20-2013 I emailed them "thank you for the information, etc" and received a most recent response from them on 3-25-2013 with an excuse that they are busy, etc. I sent them a letter, via US Mail, on 4-10-2013 and have yet to receive any type of a response from them. I have sent them another letter today and carbon copied the local 108th Legislative District, PA House of Representatives, Lynda Schegel-Culver. At this juncture, it has been approximately 90 days since I filed my online tax with Berkiheimer. I still do not have my refund of $243.00.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund ASAP.
