Awful
I am sorry to say this bank is by far the worst bank I've ever done business with. If I could give them a zero I most certainly would. I will be opening a new account else where. Once all my ducks are in a row, GOODBYE BERKSHIRE...

My wife is a teacher in Massachusetts and they are somehow affiliated with the Massachusetts Teachers Association so we went with them Terrible mistake They ask for the same paperwork over and over They can't get anything done on time They changed reps on us halfway through the loan processing and the new guy had no clue what he was doing It was as if they never processed a mortgage before I would definitely stay away from them as far as mortgages go I don't know anything about their banking services

We have investigated this matter and found that an error occurred with the transfer of the security deposit to the credit card balanceThe late fee and any finance charges have been reversed, and the security deposit has bee applied to the balance, leaving the account at a zero balance as

I have had my auto loan with Berkshire for years now My bank, First Source, faithfully and like clock work transfers the money from my account to the Berkshire bank for processing the loan payment It is due the first of the month Every time there is a holiday I receive a notice from Berkshire that the payment is late HOWEVER the money is there and is sitting in an account...they just don't transfer it I have asked asked EVERY SINGLE time that they change the due date At one point I received a document to change the due date - I sent it back but NEVER got a reply and NEVER did they change the due date Now they have placed a negative remark on my credit report because they won't change the due date This has been going on for FOUR years now - FOUR YEARS This is wrong It's poor business It's rotten and I'm tired of it NEVER will I ever have my auto loan serviced through them

Berkshire Bank is in receipt the above complaint. Please accept the following in response. Ms. [redacted] states that Berkshire Bank did not meet the expected closing date for a mortgage transaction in which she was the seller of the property. At the outset, it is important to note that Ms. [redacted] was not...

Berkshire Bank’s customer in this transaction. Our role was to provide mortgage financing to the buyer of Ms. [redacted]’s property, subject to our usual residential loan underwriting and approval policies and procedures and applicable banking laws and regulations. After conducting an investigation into this transaction, we have found that Berkshire Bank followed its standard mortgage underwriting and approval process with appropriate due diligence. The Bank worked expeditiously with the buyer of Ms. [redacted]’s property (our borrower) to overcome a variety of underwriting issues as they arose in order to allow purchase of the property to be completed within a reasonable timeframe. Unfortunately, delays and inconveniences such as Ms. [redacted] says she experienced sometimes happen for reasons beyond our control. However, given that Berkshire Bank acted with appropriate diligence in helping the buyer to conclude this transaction, we respectfully decline to reimburse the seller for her storage and [redacted] costs.
