Hello, and please accept my apologies for this delayed response to the latter dated 8/10/regarding ID [redacted] Since the complaint was logged I have been in contact with Mr [redacted] via phone and email regarding the status of his deposit refund.The initial refund check was processed nine days after the lease end date (5/16/16) as shown in the screenshot below, well within the required the time frame As Mr [redacted] acknowledged in his complaint, he provided an incorrect forwarding address so the check was not delivered This check still has yet to be received back in our Boston office as non-deliverable.Once Mr [redacted] checked in with us at a later date to inquire about the refund, we requested the A/P department in Boston to place a stop payment on the check and re-issue a new check to the correct address The replacement check was issued 6/29/16, but the correct forwarding address was not uploaded into our system prior to the request; this was an error on our end The check also went to the incorrect forwarding address and has also not been received back in our Boston office as non-deliverable.Unfortunately for us both our company is changing resident database systems nationally, and one of the initial phases is rolling four different systems into one A/P system Many issues came up that were not foreseeable and we were unable to process checks for vendors or residents for several weeks The capability is just now coming back online and I have a confirmation email from A/P that a re-issued check will be cut next week (I was not informed of a particular day) I am instructing them to FedEx the check to the leasing officer per Mr [redacted] ’s request [redacted] ***Property ManagerRIVERview ApartmentsBerkshire Communities [redacted] ***Austin, Texas [redacted]
