I signed a contract with Netrate Concepts (one in the same with Berkshire concepts). I purchased a discount travel membership.I believethis is a scamJune 25, 2013 went to a 90 travel presentation in order to receive free plane tickets. Paid 5,423.00 on my credit card for a travel membership to get deeply discounted travel. My password was sent to me late the next day(they said it would take a week), but not really enough time to see what the website and travel agents can do for our future travel. After being quoted some prices(going back and forth for days with the agent) that I found for less on Expedia, I became suspicious. I then called to speak to a [redacted] 7/10/2013, no reply. I then called Revdex.com and found out that the company,aka Berkshire Concepts had an F rating and many complaints against them. I would like most of my money back if possible. I am also filing a complaint with the AG office. Desired SettlementThe salesman's name was [redacted], no last name given. He did say he lives in Pittsfield, thus connecting him with the company Berkshire Concepts.
Tried using their service but after numerous calls could not reach them. Phone number X-XXX-XXX-XXXX goes to another business. Paid$7448.00 to join plus $199.00 maintence fee for web-site service. Misrepresentation of a false contract.Attended a seminar on 2/24/12. The presentation given by [redacted] at the Radisson Hotel, Nashua, NH sounded terrific, but there was gross misrepresentation in his "show." Where are the discounts to air fare, hotels, dream trips and especially the benefits of using the assistance of Berkshire Concepts support team. (They never answer the phone - and never return your phone calls) There have been no benefits or discounts as claimed during the seminar. All the promises that [redacted] alluded to were untrue. The cheap air flights, the dream vacations, the 50% discounts, the client assistance per our persistent phone calls have not played out. Even to the point of all the accreditations promised by [redacted] - all untrue. Our trips that we had planned were few. We could find cheaper hotel discounts on our own. This company is a real scam - don't be fooled. Finally, we sent them a certified letter to terminate our contract and it was returned. Were we surprised.....no - I would like my contract terminated and money returned. Hope to hear from you regarding this matter. Please! They are hold to get a hold of. I've found nothing but frustration in dealing with them. Promises made were a lie. Never return phone calls. I do not have my information with me at the moment I am writing this to you, but I do have my passwords which are XXXXXX,XXXXX they have never worked for me when trying to log on. The gentleman that I have managed to talk with is Dan Merritt and found him incredibly frustrating and had to keep on him to get any information when trying to make arrangements for travel, to no avail. I will say that after constant calling and not letting up they did manage to get us a decent hotel when we went to New Orleans but it was incredibly frustrating and it was only after the threat of reporting to the Revdex.com that they managed to come up with something. Since then we have not been able to contact them or leave messages in regards to planning future travel. If you need service contract information I will be happy to forward that to you, I'm just not at home at the time of this email and just happened to be trying to get ahold of them that has caused my frustration which promted this email. After all the frustrations of dealing with Berkshire Concepts we have told them we would not give them another penny. We are looking for a refund if possible. In dealing with this company I have had nothing but headaches and phone call after phone call in trying to reach someone, anyone to help us with our travel arrangements when possible. I found that I'm better off doing it myself. Initially I found the same response with the 2 round trip air tickets promised and it ended up costing me more money just to resubmit for their form for the ticked. If you can be of any help it would be greatly appreciated. I've given up trying to deal with them. Today for instance I tried calling the numbers for the people I have and no one seemed to answer the phone. Not even a voicemail.
