We purchased a couch and recliner chair from Freeds in Within a few days, I noticed the frame of the sofa had a gap on one side compared to the other I called Freeds and it was resolved Great! About three weeks later, I noticed the recliner was losing it's cushion in the foot and head rest In addition, the fabric was balling up like a bad sweater Freeds came out and added more cushion and shaved the balls Then a month later, the couch began peeling! The salesman said it was 'real leather.' I called Freeds and they ordered a new section It took over months to receive the section And guess what? It began peeling again and not only in a separate section, but in the same section So, now the entire couch is hideous We have never been able to enjoy a 'brand new couch.' Now, Freeds wants to order another section even though the entire couch is damagedFreeds will not do the right thing and offer us a store credit or refund We bought a new couch and have never been able to enjoy a new couch This is an awful way to do business, as we should not have to 'eat' the couch and put up with peeling materialIt is the store's responsibilityPurchased the extended warranty and they said it is for accidentally damage we cause So what? Am I suppose to accidentally tear up my couch so they will replace it? We are honest people, who work hard for our money And this is insane to me
I would recommend Berl's tree serviceThe sales guys were wonderfully outgoing and down to earth as was the crewThey did a great job dropping my trees in my fenced in yard and a particularly difficult dead hickory on the property line and nothing was damagedIt was quite amazingThey also raised the canopy to make it safer for watching the kids out by the lake and they cleared out a bunch of overgrown underbrushThey neatly piled the brush as we had asked and even cut most of it up to make it easier for me to move and piled the wood so we can burn it in the fire pitThey also gave me advice on various things like treating ash trees that I wanted to saveOnce the job was done and they were cleaning up, the owner (who is the one that goes up in the trees) saw a dead limb on a tree we hadn't noticed before and he went up and took that limb off tooI found them to be thorough, reasonably priced, and trustworthy
