I am very upset with this hospitalI went there in April bc my 1/month son was experiencing breathing problems due to a coldThe lack of urgency on this hospitals part was embarrassingI asked the admin who brought me into my room to stop taking my insurance information and get me a doctor nowI went to the [redacted] in Oshkosh minute farther drive the next day and there was a night and day difference [redacted] **Why in the world would you get my insurance info, take your time about it, when I just told you my infant is having trouble breathing?

I did some research on her account and found that she actually does owe the $The claim was denied by Blue Cross as not being a benefit in her planShe contacted us and we contacted Blue Cross and resubmitted the claimThe second time they denied it as out of networkOur registration staff does not ever tell a patient that something is covered because we have no way of knowing with all the specific plans out thereIt is the patient’s responsibility to check with their insurance if something is coveredShe was contacted multiple times receiving statements and past due bill letters along with multiple phone conversationsShe had the option of setting up a payment plan but chose not toBlue Cross denied it twice and both reasons would fall to her being responsible for the balanceShe chose not to do anything until it went to collectionsWe always try and work with patients but in this instance the balance is her responsibility and she decided not to set up a payment planShe certainly does have the option to set one up nowI did contact Glynda and let her know I was looking into her accountThanks

I received a letter on a complaint on an individual’s bill. After looking at her account I discovered that this account is handled...

by a third party billing company for us. I am going to forward this to them to check for possible billing error. I will definitely find out who she talked to when she called regarding her bill. When I have all the information I will contact you again and let you know the status of this account. Thank you.
