I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The businesses response is in fact a statementI did call the Horse Cave Motel to confirm adjoining rooms, and confirmed with an employee of the Horse Cave Motel that adjoining rooms were availableIt was not until my arrival at the Horse Cave Motel the I became aware that there was not an adjoining roomI attempted to explain this to the person who called regarding this complaint, initially identified himself as the Revdex.comHowever, after many attempts to retrieve his name, I recognized the name as the person the Horse Cave Motel employee spoke with on the phone the day of my arrival.The person I spoke with advised that this was my problemI was offered a larger room however it would not have accommodated my person family, with Children as it is noted on Booking.com that Horse Cave Motel does not or can not supply additional beds, and I would not accept a side by side room with the possibility of leaving my children unattended.I do not believe I should be charged the booking fee, the cancellation fee or any other fees incurred due to the Horse Cave Motel IssueI feel that the Horse Cave Motel is fraudulent in it's business practice and professionally irresponsible

Firm states that the consumers reservations were made through Booking.com and did not speak to her before this. She asked for 2 adjoining rooms and made the reservations. She was told when they arrived that they do not have adjoining rooms but offered 1 larger room or 2 rooms side by side. She...

turned down both offers. She was charged 1 night for both rooms because no cancellation was made in time. It was $45 for each room ($89.80) total. Consumer stayed somewhere else. They feel that they are not responsible for this mix up.
