My husband purchased a vehicle from craigslist that we thought was a great family carAfter driving it for a few weeks we started to notice that the transmission was hitting really hard when it shifted, we knew then that it would need a new transmissionWe contacted Summit Transmission and explained what was going on and they had us bring in the vehicle for an inspection of the transmissionAfter one of the shop floor guys drove it around and checked it out, it was clearly determined that the transmission in the vehicle was going to give out at any time and that it would need to be replacedWe dropped the vehicle off on a Friday and was told that the job would be completed by end of business day that following Monday, (which was understandable because it was the weekend and some shops are not open for service on the weekends)We received a call mid afternoon that following Monday letting us know that our car was finished and was ready to be picked upWe received a rebuilt transmission that has been working perfect! The customer service is great at this place of business as wellWe were greeted with a smile and when they explained to us what was actually wrong with the transmission that needed to be replaced, they explained this to me in detailThe prices are very good for the excellent quality work that is givenI would absolutely recommend Summit Transmission to family and friends in the future for their transmission needsI give this company stars for excellent service!
