I am rejecting this response because:The owner *** *** is lying The job was not finished We have a witness to this, and we have a witness to the fact that *** entered our property when my wife was not thereWe will file a police report on him*** promised to finish the job and we paid him up front, but he never finished itI left early from work multiple times to meet with ***, but he never showed up as promisedFor many months he would not return my phone call, until I left a message saying that I would file a formal complaint. We have had the lamp fixed by somebody else I would like a refund in the amount of $to cover the cost of the repairs that ***

To Whom It May Concern: This letter is to inform you that Bernardsville Electric is responding to a complaint that is false. The ID number of this complaint is [redacted] and my name is [redacted] and I am the owner of the company.
1. The job in question was finished
2. We needed to take a measurement one day and I called and
left a message that we would be stopping by, that they
needed not be home we only needed to access the
the area where were working. (Back porch with
a locked door between porch and house)
After the completion of the job his wife asked us to hang a fixture and I agreed to at no charge, it was a used fixture and missing parts. I then told her I would try to locate the parts. After two days her husband called with a nasty attitude and I told him to drop the attitude that I was doing this as a favor and he did. Then I located the parts and went back only to find they had no power due to something the carpenter had done, so again we had to make plans to go back. (This is all for free mind you) After that I received a call at 2AM one morning asking me when I was coming back, when I got my wit’s about me I realized he was drunk and asked him if he knew what time it was and he replied, Yea I know what time it is. Well needless to say I was not a happy camper at that point and told him that he just blew any chance of my help then or ever. I cant believe people are allowed to file complaints with nothing to back their stories up. This man disturbed, his wife is deathly afraid of making any decision without speaking to him first, and each time we went back was after hours because he wanted to be there. We made five trips to try and accommodate him to hang a fixture for FREE!!!!!
I stand by my initial response.....we were doing his wife a FAVOR There was NO charge for this FAVOR
