Review: In June 2014, I purchased Medicus Power Meter for 3 payments of $19.95. All of those payments have been deducted. Since then I have also been charged 14 times for $9.95 by Le Tour Golf, Kavi Tour Golf, Jbei Golf Video. I have a a screenshot of the Medicus purchase that I made online. None of these charges/services were listed on the receipt.Desired Settlement: I just spoke to Medicus customer care, they say they are stopping further charges and refunding 2 December charges of $9.95 each.

I want to be reimbursed for the other 12 charges of $9.95 each. Total refund of $119.40.

Thank you so much for your help!Regards,

Review: I have contacted this company via email twice, and phone twice. After being up-sold a product I really wasn't sure I wanted, I tried to cancel the order the next morning but was told I could not. I refused shipment of the Medicus driver and 5-iron that came to my home about 10 days later. I called and told them I would be doing this and they said I would receive my refund in about 30 days, ok, that's fine. Unfortunately, the payment method I used is no longer an open account, as after I made this purchase, my account information was apparently stolen (or sold?) and my account security was breached, leading me to have to open a new checking account. I called Medicus immediately and asked them to either just mail a check for my refund, or I would give them my new account info. They refused. They told me that there was nothing they could do but send the refund to a closed account. They told me they would have "accounting" call me in a day or two, well, needless to say, they never called, it's been two weeks. This company is a childish and pathetic outfit, stealing peoples money on the regular. I want my $35.95 back asap.Desired Settlement: 35.95 refunded via check mailed to my address that is on file with them. I refuse to give them anymore account numbers of mine after what happened the first time.

We received the letter you sent. He placed his Medicus order on 3/26/13 via the

telephone. This order was returned to sender and refunded $35.95 on 4/16/13.

Our refunds can only be applied to the card with which the order was placed. In the

event that a refund is declined, we are notified via written communication and a check is then

sent. Our records show that the refund was successfully applied. If, by chance, we receive

anything stating otherwise, a check will be sent to him in the amount of $35.95.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[After speaking with the selling company on Friday, whom I told that their money could not be received by my original bank, I was told there was nothing they could do and all but hung up on. I have contacted the original bank, and they refused the refund, which only makes sense because I HAVE NO ACCOUNT WITH THEM. The refund was not accepted, it was refused because there was no valid account to put it in-what else could they do with it? I am still waiting for my check from this rotten company, and no matter what they say, it is clear they are lying. Banks do not just hold money that isn't theirs, and this company is clearly doing this to more people than just me. They seem to get more mail from the Revdex.com then they do regarding orders! Anyone involved is more than welcome to call the bank, as they think I am insane at this point after all the times I have called them about this money which they cannot, and never will, have in their possession!...1-877-663-6161 [redacted] Bank-the previous provider of my Debit MasterCard-account CLOSED]

Review: This company has charged my credit card since March 2013 $180.29 dollars for products I have never ordered or received. I understand from reading other complaints that they have very deceptive advertising practices and I am not the only one to have this problem.Desired Settlement: To get my money back

We received the letter you sent. On 3/8/13 an order was placed via the internet for the

Medicus Swing Bag and Flipz Sunglasses. The billing information provided matches that of the

address provided in this letter, as well as the telephone number and name. The shipping address

is different, but is located in the same city/town. Pursuant to the terms of the order placed, it

was processed and shipped on 3/9/13.

Along with the Swing Bag and Flipz Sunglasses, she was enrolled in our Golf Online

Academy and Golf Tour Partner services. These are each free for 60 days and then are $9.95

per month until the customer cancels. We have never received any contact from her until this

letter. We have cancelled each service and refunded all charges associated with them, totalling

$119.40. The tracking information we have on file for the shipment is no longer able to be viewed

as it has been beyond 6 months since it shipped. Our customer service telephone number appears

along with the transaction information on billing statements. If we had heard from her in March

when the first charge appeared, we would have been able to trace the package. The order was

processed and shipped accordingly, so there is no refund due for the merchandise. She will incur

no further charges.

We apologize for any inconvenience that she experienced as a result of this purchase.

Review: I bought a product called "Swing Meter" from this company since their website and comercials seemed very proffessional. After some initial problems receiving my product a quick phone call resolved the issue and they credited my account with $5 for the inconvenience. At this point I was happy with my dealings at Medicus Golf. That was when exactly 60 days after my original purchase date, a few suspicious charges for $19.95 appeared on my account statement. After doing some research I realized who the culprit was and imediately started the process of having these unauthorized charges taken care of. I placed a phone call to the customer support line at Medicus Golf and it is obviously a runaround and diversion to complicate the situation and its purpose is to confuse and frustrate the customer to the point they give up. I will not however. I have been charged $19.95 on four different transactions and I would like them credited. This is what I told the customer service representative that I spoke to who, to my surprise, was willing to credit two of the charges back to my account. I told her that I wanted all four back and she said that policy states that there are no refunds after 30 days. But this should not apply on something I DID NOT AUTHORIZE! how to these people get by with this and why isnt something being done about it! I will pursue this to the hilt until I get my $80 dollars back! They claim I signed up for a free trial that I didnt cancel, but this is crap because I know better than to do that. Someone signed me up for it without my permision.Desired Settlement: I would like to have these charges refunded back to my card. I know they can do it as they gave me a measley 5 dollar credit previously for an error on their part.

Review: This company started charging me every month. I called them and eventually got them to refund my account and they stated they would take me off their list. Advance Gourmet Cookbooks for only $0.99. This offer contains The Great Pastamaker

Cookbook, The Art of the Knife Cookbook and Pesto: The Art of Cooking With Herb Pastes.

you will be charged just 2 monthly payments of $9.95 for each of the 3 books (plus $3.95 p&h

including the shipping & processing. At that time, the remaining payment was not removed and

Review: Went online to order a new golf ball that was offered and agreed to pay $0.99 for shipping. Once entering the payment page and trying to check out I was sent to an endless loop of offers for products and services that I declined. Even when I clicked on the option to just proceed to checkout it would never stop asking me for these offers. In the mean time, my laptop froze up so there was no way for me to go back to even cancel the order. Meanwhile, my checking account now shows a charge of $40.94 from this company. I did not order anything additional nor do I want to.Desired Settlement: I would like the additional charges taken off my bill. I did agree at first to pay the $0.99, and I will if need be, but at this point I would rather just get refunded the whole amount and if the golf [redacted] arrive I will ship them right back to them. I really think the endless loop of offers of which I was offered the medicus clubs several times is unethical and bad business practice. I was never able to get out of the special offer loop to get to the checkout page. Very shady.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I do not agree with the version of this transaction that they have submitted. I did not accept the 7 to 10 day shipping, mostly because it's starting to get pretty cold here in Ohio so there was no reason to expedite shipping, so I kept clicking to proceed to my order, which it never would do. Maybe by the computer finally freezing up after numerous clicks through the endless loops it automatically charged me with the extra shipping amount. I wanted what they claimed, which was free golf balls with a $0.99 shipping and handling. Their site makes it impossible to make that happen because of the endless loops of offers that never let you get to the checkout for the payment of $0.99. I don't see anywhere on the paperwork they submitted where it shows that I chose this option, it's only a screenshot of the offer screen. I could print this screen and say it was proof of someone choosing this option.

Review: I purchased on a one time basis, some items off their web site that totaled around $60.00. Now today, 7/3/2014 at 4:46am I have been charged $73.35 to my credit card.

"PRE-AUTHORIZATION DEBIT AT MEDICUS 20, VISTA, CA ON 070314"

After searching on the web, I found a phone number and called. They said that I was being billed on a monthly basis. This was not what was represented on the web.

I was buying sale items on a one time basis.

The cus[redacted]er service rep gave me an RA# to return the items. Which I will do so. However, I will not receive complete refund of moneys lost. Then the cus[redacted]er service

rep tried to sell me more items! She did not say that the items would involve monthly payments! However, I know that they would continue to bill my credit card.

So I told her to cancel everything and to not charge my card again.

This is UN-acceptable business practices. Then I continued to search MEDICUS and found that many people have complained about this company.

This company is a Scam and they need to be stopped.

[redacted]...Desired Settlement: Complete refund and cease credit card charges.

Pursuant to the offer he accepted, he was charged a total of $61.33 ($3.95 for the Original Old West

Cookbook, $53.40 s&p and $3.98 to try all of the additional items risk free for 30 days) and his order was

shipped to him.

We believe in our products and want to make our customers' use of them as convenient as possible.

We offer a 30 day no-questions-asked money back guarantee, as well as a 6 month replacement warranty.

We are sorry that he apparently misunderstood the terms and conditions of the offers he

accepted. Attached you will find copies from the website where he placed his order. After adding the

Original Old West Cookbook (Exhibit 1) to his cart, he was offered to try the Authentic American Recipes

Cookbook Collection for only $0.99 today. This set contains an additional Original Old West Cookbook, the

Great Sausage Maker Cookbook, and American Cookery: The First American Cookbook. Exhibit 2 shows the

details of this offer: "Pay only $0.99 + $9.95 S&P for the first 30 days. After 30 days, you will be charged

just 3 monthly payments of $6.55 for each of the 3 books." After accepting this, he was offered and

accepted the Season & Spice Collection for $0.99. This set includes the Season & Spice Cookbook, the

Marinade Encyclopedia, From Bland to Grand Cookbook, and the FreshSnip Gourmet Herb Scissors. The

details of this offer are shown in Exhibit 3 and read: "Pay only $0.99 (plus $3.95 s&p per item) for the first

30 days. After 30 days, you will be charged just 4 monthly payments of $5.95 for each of the 4 items." He

then accepted the Grow Your Own Herbs capsule terrariums for $1.00. 6 herb terrariums are included in

this offer: Basil, Chives, Oregano, Parsley, Rosemary, and Thyme. The details of this offer are seen in

Exhibit 4: "Pay only $1.00 for the first 30 days plus $2.95 S&P for each item. After 30 days, you will be

charged just 6 monthly payments of $9.95." The final offer he accepted to try was the Dehydrated &

Delicious Gourmet Food Dehydrator for $1.00. Exhibit 5 explains this offer and reads: "Pay only $1 + $9.95

S&P today. After 30 days, you will be charged just 2 monthly payments of $19.95." The details of each

offer are located above & below the submission box. We entrust that our cus[redacted]ers are reading these

offers that they accept. Beyond the first payment of $61.33, he has also been charged the second

installment payment of $73.35. As a show of good faith, we have placed a hold on the pending charges until

7/25/14 allowing him time to return his order. We will issue a full refund less s&p once it's received.

We apologize for any inconvenience that he experienced as a result of this purchase. We try very

hard to satisfy our customers and to learn from them when they have not had a good experience with us.

We hope and trust that this matter is now resolved. Should you have any further questions, however, please

do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

Review: Medicus. alias Kavi Tour Golf, alias RMC Short Game alias JBEI Golf, alias LE Tour Golf I have just sent an email on the Medicus web page. In essence it says: On December 13th I paid for a video of Golf Short Game for a one off cost of 99c USD. Then I have since discovered your company Medicus, has been taking unauthorized payments from my Bank account under the names RMC* Short Game, and Kavi *Tour Golf.In all you have stolen $158.98 AUD of my money.I know the Company is owned by [redacted] (sp) out of Vista CA. Medicus is charging under several names, including Kavi Golf, JBEI Golf, LE Tour Golf but not only. My [redacted] is [redacted]If you wish to refund me, contact me on [redacted] and I will advise where to repay these funds. You cannot repay this Card as it had to be cancelled. I cannot believe you are still in business! On research, there are thousands of complaints on the Internet of your theft, under the various names you use to charge. It is World Wide Credit Card Fraud. I understood Medicus was a reputable Golf Company. Seems it has changed hands, or at least it's Ethics! If I receive no reply after three days, I will pass all this to the Fraud Division at my Bank. [redacted] Desired Settlement: I hesitate to provide a Credit Card number. I will give a Bank Account number so a Direct Credit can be paid, if this Company will admit it's Fraud. My email address is ross...............com

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

After you sent me the reply from Medicus, I contacted them by phone on July 20, when they agreed to repay the charges they had taken against my Credit Card.
