They make a claim of offering a gift cardI did not reject the offer because it was not madeThe resolution to this complaint is a refund. If they send the gift card, the response can be accepted and this matter would be closed

When we write a policy we go through specific steps explaining for what the customer is payingWe would have explained that the $fee is non-refundableIt is unfortunate that **and *** *** did not hear that part of the conversationWe do not have the ability to refund the $policy fee, only *** Corporate can do thatI believe **and *** *** have pursued *** Corporate and the PA Insurance CommissionerBoth of these entities concurred that **and *** *** owed the money,
However, to alleviate the aggravation that **and *** *** feel, I have requested that a $Gift Card be sent to themThis is the maximum amount that can be requestedThank you for your intervention in this matter

Review: We were changing our insurance carrier for Home, Auto and Umbrella policies to [redacted]. We were told by Bernieri,that the policies would go in effect on 6/6/14 when our current policies ended. We paid for the policies with a credit card. On 5/30, we got a cancellation notice from [redacted] for the Umbrella policy. The agent told us he would provide us with an umbrella policy, but failed to do so. We found a broker who could provide all 3 policies and cancelled the [redacted] policies. We got our money refunded. Then we got a bill from [redacted]. I called Bernieri and was told that we shouldnt owe anything and that they would take care of it, also got an email stating all policies were cancelled and we would get a full refund. We were told the reason for the bill was that the Umbrella policy was not really cancelled on 5/30. On 8/6 we got a bill for $30 and was told by Bernieri that there was a charge for the policies written by [redacted]. We were never told this and there is nothing in the paperwork that we would be charged for writing a policy which could then be cancelled by [redacted].Desired Settlement: The bill was sent to a collection service and we paid the $30. We are requesting a refund of $30.

They make a false claim of offering a gift card. I did not reject the offer because it was not made. The resolution to this complaint is a refund. If they send the gift card, the response can be accepted and this matter would be closed.
