Do not move to this apartment building in the Avenues West neighborhood
I'm a tenant who live at 3010 West Wells Street,Somebody who lived in the apartment called the police on me telling them that I was playing my music too loud, The police came to my apartment and talked to me about playing my music loud,Other tenants in that apartment building play their music loud above me,I got a 28 day notice from them,Somebody who live in that building lied and said,I poured grease on the stairs and that never happened. I contacted Berrada Properties by e-mail about the incident,They never responded back and They never believed me! The bad tenants who live in that apartment building that lies on tenants and The only tenants that cause trouble and starts trouble in that apartment building with tenants is Joe Bernard in Apt 26 and Clyde Davis in Apt 5, They be drinking alcohol and smoke weed a lot! Joe be closing and slamming his door a lot that disturbs the tenants,The black girl with the kids who live in Apt 36 be running and playing in the hallways, The lease says no running and no playing in the hallways! They cause this mice infestation on me inside my apartment.This property manangement company don't wanna evict those bad tenants who break the rules in that apartment building.They just wanna see bad things happen to good tenants in that apartment building.

They moved my things out without an eviction notice

Mr. complained to the Revdex.com on or about June 19, 2020 stating that his personal property had been moved out of the Premises without an eviction notice and demanding legal action and $3,000.00. As stated above, pursuant to the terms of his month to month rental agreement, the Premises was deemed abandoned along with the personal property remaining within it. Slumlord; horrible customer service. Safety hazards, entry door doesn’t work, unkept hallways. HORRIBLE

Berrada properties will not give me a satisfaction letter to move. I have been waiting 4months for a satisfaction letter from them. They keep giving me the run around and telling me it will be ready next day and when I go to pick it up they tell me “come back/call tomorrow” this is very unprofessional and is causing me to miss work because I am being told to it will be ready via next day. I don’t owe any more or have any ties to berrada properties. They staff is not welcoming to the situation and is making me feel as if I am in the wrong. They proceeded to give me wrong numbers and emails. When talking face to face people our being rude and walking away from me. This is not right I just want to move into my new home, but I can’t till I receive the satisfaction letter from berrada properties which has been 4months now.

Hello it has been multiple break in an I informed them I want to move due to waking up today an my door was broke as if someone tried to break in. Which it was fixed today but I informed them I want to move an they told me I wouldn’t get a security deposit back which isn’t rite due to myself being scared of someone is going to break into my home next I don’t feel safe.

This correspondence is in response to a letter received at our office regarding ***who resides at ***. Ms. is contending that we will not let her move immediately and receive her security deposit back.It is our policy to require a proper 30-day notice be submitted by the first of the month to move out at the end of the month. For example, if Ms. would like to move out by April 30, 2020, a 30-day notice is required to be submitted to our office by April 1, 2020. Unless Ms. was transferring to a property managed by Berrada Properties, a proper 30-day notice is required in order to be eligible for a security deposit refund.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. allegations.

My name is ***I live at *** this apartment building was just bought in March by Berrada properties. I was instructed to clear out my storage and bring that up in my apartment washer and dryer the amenities that I was paying for are all taking away with no notice now I have come home to no running water. water that is running is ice cold. I cannot take a shower. And with all of this coronavirus going on I need to be clean as possible. I’ve left several messages for the emergency maintenance. And no one has called me back. I’ve left messages in the office I’ve spoken to someone in a drive-through no one from the Berrada property has called me back. I have been waiting a week for other issues to address and no one has called me back . I feel unsafe in my building doors being left open by workers they have no consideration for what is going on with me here in this apartment I’m trying to transfer to another property and there’s their leasing office is not calling me back I don’t know what to do to get their attention .

This correspondence is in response to a letter received at our office regarding Ms. who resides at *** Ms. is contending that we left her unit for several days with no hot running water.

On April 1", 2020 Berrada Properties was replacing the water heaters in Ms. building, the water was turned off for a short amount of time for that task. Upon restoring the water, a pipe in another part of the building had burst. That required an emergency shut off of the water in order to replace/repair the problem. It was not our intention to have the water off for a long period of time, but due to the emergency repair, it was a necessity.Per the notices received when we first took over the property of which Ms. is aware, she has always been invited to transfer to another property managed by Berrada Properties. If she has not already, she can reach out to one of our leasing agents to start the process.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. allegations.

Horrible customer service and they will hang up on you

They employees told my washer n dryer out my basement now they won’t return any calls I’ve been trying to talk to someone since November

If I could give zero stars I would so me and my 53yr old disable neighbor across the hall got a 30 day notice to be out by the 30th of November because someone lied and said that we were fighting I don’t know if it was suppose to be with each other or someone else which is not true at all I been here for almost 5yrs she been here for like 10yrs way before Berrada took over never had a complaint against me or her now all of a sudden you stop talking to people over here they lie on you and my dumb *** paid my rent this month thinking they were gonna investigate the situation and see it’s *** but they didn’t they just kicked us out and I have 3 kids and no where to go in the winter time all over some hear say that they didn’t even care to see if it was true or not that’s *** all the way up

I lived in the berrada apartments for a little over 2 yrs I moved from Appleton wi a small clean quite town to a big environment like milwaukee it was clean living there for a year not after that idk what happened I just started seeing roaches like here and there so I went to the office and complained they act like they didn't know what I was talking about. So I went out and brought my own roach stuff it worked for months until I think they got used to it so they started coming back to the point this last month it was an infestation bad I had two little babies I think they were coming from next door or from downstairs through the vents every where I looked they were everywhere I told berrada 4 times they still didnt do anything about it so I just woke up one day and said I'm leaving I cant take this no more I really had to leave my home throw away everything and start from fresh I'm so upset I wish I can reimburse in some rent or get my whole security deposit back. I would not recommend living here.

I was relocated from my old apartment because Berrada bought my old building without warning. I was forced to move in one of Berrada other places and it is full of roaches and I have spent over $300 trying to get rid of them.I have be been getting ill lately. roaches carry gems and disease.
I was asked by the manager that "aren't you use to living with roaches " I was highly insulted . The apartment directly below me is vacant and all the windows are busted out. I told the manager about this a month ago,(I have dated pictures of the trashed apartment) nothing has be done. I told her that I didn't feel safe with that apartment open like that . And I told her that the roaches are coming in from this apartment. Nothing has been done.Every day the outside doors to the apartment building is left wide open that's not safe at all.I pay my rent on time and I should get the security that I'm paying for. There is apartments with over 10 people living in it and it's only 2 bedrooms. Berrada has no concern for his tenants. He just want his rent and that's it.There is something that has to be one about this . This is happening all over the city of Milwaukee. Maybe I need to contact the governor? Me and my husband are elderly people and we shouldn't have to live in these conditions.

Ms. entire building was treated for pests on four occasions in the last few months. We have not received any complaints from tenant in the last few weeks.

As for the security of the building, we have sent warning letters and posted in Ms. building today. Our caretaker has been informed to stay close to this situation.

This is the worst management company ever. He a slumlord and nothing going to change that. He not a good business man to deal with .no stars I only put one star cause I had too.. but this is a no stars establishment

I have been living in this rental property for going on 3 years. My second year here the property was purchased by Berrada Properties. At this time numerous repairs were made to the complex but not to the units which had occupants. The units were not well kept prior to their purchase. I made this company aware of the repairs needed. Some of which could cause mold which can lead to health issues. The first time someone came, he looked around, went on a break and never returned. Leaving all of his supplies for the repairs. Because of this I did not pay the next months rent which resulted in Berrada properties attempting to evict me. It has now been another year and the exact same repairs are still needed. I have not been given the opportunity to move into an updated unit either. Upon me calling Berrada today and speaking with a representative, I told her all of my concerns and repairs needed, she replied with a loud an obnoxious "ugggggggghhhhhhh" as if my concerns were getting on her nerves. If the job is too stressful this is not a profession for this individual.

Only giving one star because they make you. If it were my choice, they wouldn’t get a star at all!!! Berrada Properties has the worst customer service ever!!! The payment center on 99th and Good Hope is absolutely horrible!!! That office reeks of unprofessionalism in its highest form!! The people hide behind the window for a reason. They are uneducated, unprofessional ghetto bums!! The one named Alma has a major attitude because she can’t read. Any business that would employ people like her would never get my business!!!

I am writing this letter in disbelief of the things I have been going through with your company.What I don’t appreciate is the fact that your company has hired con-artist (Jessie)to do your tenant searching, but I spoke with Paula and she has stated that he is no longer working for your property anymore. Now Jessie advised me that I could have an electric stove and the socket would be no problem to change but when I called them I was told oh that’s not true he lied and now I’m stuck with a stove that I paid for and can’t take back nor can be used we have been living here for a month in a half now and still no response on what can be done . Also Paula stated that I may can be moved to a different location do to the circumstances of what has occurred and I was open to everything she had to offer me.
Now here’s where I’m extremely upset, I came home to a note about mice in the property! Now there are black boxes around my home and ROACHES are starting to appear and I will not stay in such a place. I signed a contact with this company and not one part stated I have to live in a property where there are mice and roaches. I will do not feel comfortable living here. I have paid my rent and will continue to do so, but I will not pay another dime if I can’t be compensated for the current living conditions. Also, I want to point out the fact that the tenants at this property are disrespectful and disgusting. I had to clean up the garbage area up 4 times last week. I refuse to live in these conditions.! Would you want to live in a building where there’s roaches and mice? I’m sure u wouldn’t as well. I have been staying at my mothers home until further notice from you all. This is a huge inconvenience to my life. I was told to email you about this so I hope this helps solve the process of getting something done ASAP! If I can’t be relocated I will be submitting my 30 day notice. I sent them an email about my concerns as well as called everyday for something to be done. When I seen the property and moved in I called about the stove hook up no one contacted me back I called everyday for two weeks straight and finally I get ahold of Paula she stated oh nothing can be done about the stove sorry you have to figure it out we fired Jessie for lying also we can’t do anything cause you only been a tenant for 1 month. I say this was not part of the agreement made nor do I have to pay to stay in a place of such, I do not have roaches or mice so why would I want to stay anywhere and she told me they would treat the property but how does that help me roaches are still there I have a daughter to raise and currently pregnant I will not bring a newborn child into a nasty apartment. She told me I couldn’t speak to the manager nor was there anyway I could set up a conference about what’s happening I moved in on April 1 and called about the problems all the way up until April 16 and now today still nothing I been living with my step mom I have taken all my clothes to the Laundry mat because I cannot go to school and teach children and a roach crawling on my jacket or clothes no I do not appreciate them telling g me I have to stay there when that’s not something I brought there nor has so why should I live incompetent I’m paying my bills on time.

I'm a current tenant from Florida but moved to Wisconsin. I tell ya now, this place is disgusting as ever. Roaches in the building halls and including my unit .They use the hallways as a storage unit…for example, tools and materials in the halls and kids live here. Someone please help us
