I am rejecting this response because: Mr*** must not have communicated with his secretaryI called a total of timesStarting October 12th explaining the staining issueShe originally said she would send the gutter installers out to take a lookI explained I used a *** *** (like I used on my old gutters) and it wouldn't even touch the dirtNo one came out so on October19th I called again, she was apologetic and said she would try again I asked this time what Berry Company would recommend to clean the guttersThey suggested vinegar, *** ***, bleach , and I even bought *** ***I personally tried all of these products and it would not touch the stainsIt appears there is a shinny glaze which, when they were brand new, made them look nice,but now that stain is actually part of the finishAlso as a side note my old gutters (which my neighbor still has) were able to be cleaned with a *** *** and the thickness of the gutters was denser .I guess Mr*** finally came out to take a look. Obviously I would not call an additional times if any of the cleaners had worked,so the elbow grease theory does not hold waterIf after year my gutters can not be cleaned, and nothing works to clean themWHAT WILL THEY LOOK LIKE IN YEARS ?

I did view and take pictures of the gutters installed for Mr ***. I found them to be installed correctly. I did not see the stains referred to in the complaint until I was well within feet of the gutters. The stains on the gutters are due to a chemical reaction between the
asphalt roof and the aluminum gutters It is very common and can only be cleaned with elbow grease and bleach. Berry Construction is not responsible for the maintenance of the products installed. The gutter material used is a high grade standard aluminum which is most often used around the US. The fact that the gutters get dirty does NOT warrant them being replaced at the expense of Berry Construction. I did do some research and found that *** *** carries a product called *** *** that might be helpful In Mr ***'s own words he describes the craftsmanship as good and the follto his questions as prompt. I don't understand how this type of business practice lands Berry Construction a complaint on the Revdex.com. I did attach a picture of the gutter. I

I am rejecting this response because:I really don't understand. I must be missing something!! All I saw was a copy of the paid receipt and the contract. I mailed them both to you when I filed the original complaint. The reality of the situation, my 20 year old gutters looked better than these 1 year old black lined stained gutters. I was told by my neighbors and I checked the Revdex.com and I talked to his foreman [redacted] that Berry was an outstanding company.I can't understand why a company would not take care of a customer's real complaint. The stain was allowed to creep into the paint and along with the shiny finish , making it impossible to clean. I feel as though I am getting the run around ,that my problem is just that "my problem". Mr [redacted] decided from his first phone call to me this was something I will have to live with. That is where I have a problem. The gutters are defective, they can't be cleaned ,and I have to accept them. I have been in flooring all of my life. When a piece of carpet is bad ,the mill replaces the carpet with new carpet including labor. Hopefully ,Mr. [redacted] does the right thing and makes the correct decision.

The Contract is written in complete compliance with Industry standards.  The roof was completed in a very timely manner, including the removal of the dumpster.  The crew that installed the roof had and has my upmost confidence.  To their credit, that crew installs all the roofs...

subcontracted to Berry Construction by all the [redacted] stores in St. Charles County.  We very well may have not moved the patio furniture back to its exact position, but it was never mentioned to me or I would have taken care of getting it moved.  We are NOT in the satellite dish installing business.  As a courtesy, we re-install the dish and make a guess as to getting the alignment correct.  The alignment is done by the dish provider and is scheduled by the homeowner.  It's been my experience that it takes about 48 hours to have this completed.  We did use a magnet to clean up the nails although Mrs [redacted] did find five.  I was told there were 2 areas where she thought the shinlges were improperly installed, nails left on the property, and ridgevent inproperly installed.  This being my first conversation with Mrs [redacted], I immeadiatly drove out to her home to inspect the roof installation.  I found the property to be very clean, the ridgevent installed properly, and no issues with the shingles.  I then called her back and told her I had been to the property and that she didn't have anything to worry about.  I did suggest adding some soffit ventillation that would would inprove the efficiency of the ridgevent.  We have documentation from the Manufacturer of the shingles that the roof is completely under warranty.    The alligations that our reviews must be fake is outrageous and slanderous.  To suggest that we provided no customer service is clearly not true as she has explained how many times we have communicated with her.    I find this complaint to be false from start to finish.
