Bertha and the Babes Estates Sales

I was extremely disappointed in the result of our estate saleThey sold a house full of furniture, appliances and collectibles and I received a mere 1,They took a Hummel to sell in a later sale and when I inquired about the status of the item they stated it was stolen during another sale and I received nothing for itThese Women are very polite but do not let that fool youI never received an accounting of the receipts and since we were not allowed to attend the sale we have no proof of the proceedsThey left and there were unsold items leftWhen I sold them on my own privately they wanted to add the amount that I received to their receiptsDo not trust this company even though they appear to be working on your behalf

For the 1st time I went to Bertha and the Babes estates sale, the furniture prices were great and very reasonableI was upset when I was denied use of the bathroom, and I do believe it was *** said no, I do have a medical issue that causes thatI did express my issue to *** AKA *** and told her my issue, I did not tell her about my medical issue, of course I had to leave and drive to Walgreens
Then I bought a bed,headboard,foot board great price and then my husband wanted wanted the couch,love seat and ottoman again great price, no issue with that, it was the delivery charge they rob you with I was going to be charged times at $ for deliveryI didn't mind paying $ as I did for the bed but we did not buy the couch, love seat and ottoman because I was not willing to pay $times equals $
I have been going to the Girls Estates sale for years and never once did I get denied use of the bathroom, they do have a bathroom for their customersThe Girls Estates sale is wonderful without disappointments, and they will not charge you twice for deliveryWill I make Bertha and the babes every weekend NO

They took a Hummel to sell in a later sale and when I inquired about the status of the item they stated it was stolen during another sale and I received nothing for it. These Women are very polite but do not let that fool you. I never received an accounting of the receipts and since we were not allowed to attend the sale we have no proof of the proceeds. They left and there were unsold items left. When I sold them on my own privately they wanted to add the amount that I received to their receipts. Do not trust this company even though they appear to be working on your behalf.

My family contracted with Bertha and the Babes to sell my parents' household items. There were treasures from 60 years of traveling the world. [redacted] dove in and handled everything with professionalism and kindness. We can't recommend them enough. She thought of everything. It's an emotional time and [redacted] was very respectful and understanding. They found appraisers for our more exotic pieces and did a lot of research. Efficient and fast. We are not located in town, so it was comforting to know our parents' treasures were in good hands.
