Regards,I never once said I was unhappy with the vehicle nor did I want out of the contractI merely wanted to see if they could extend the months of the contract to months instead of that would help lower the paymentThe vehicle was taken from me with out notice and any legal paperworkI am on disability and had a surgery scheduled for Wed 8/and couldn't be there due to not having a vehicleAnd as far as *** goes they said that Bertoud Motors was doing " unethical " business and did not want this contract anymorePeople have a right to change minds however we were being cohortsed to our purchasing this vehicle and couldn't refinance because of the infantcywhich made us feel like we've been had!

The customers' vehicle was damaged while being worked on and we have since either given them what was missing or repaired the vehicle with the exception of a panel that needed to be orderedThat panel has been ordered and should be received in approximately a week at which time we will finish
putting the Durango in proper shapeWe are very sorry for the damage to their vehicle and are happy to make that rightIt also is not the customers' problem that we were missing over half our service technicians in an unforeseen event for a couple of daysIt unfortunately did however inconvenience them and we believe reducing in the labor is fairWe would be happy to refund the $sending it to their address if that works for them

The Equinox that was purchased, was delivered the evening of 7/13/17 and was financed by [redacted] Financial. The customer had the vehicle for about 2 weeks when she called in wanting the deal unwound, stating that she couldn’t afford the vehicle and didn’t want the vehicle. She also had a concern...

with the windshield wipers would not work on the intermittent setting and only worked on high. Since the customer had not performed her phone interview with [redacted], that at this point we had not been funded on the contract yet. After an hour on the phone our office manager convinced the customer to talk to the sales manager the following day, Tuesday the 25th of July, since she didn’t feel she could afford the vehicle nor was she happy with it any longer. The customer’s final statement was that she was calling [redacted] to cancel the contract. Our sales manager was able convince the customer that we would help with a check, fix the wipers and keep her in vehicle. On Wednesday August 2nd Berthod Motors received a call from the customer that the battery had died on the vehicle and again she was unhappy with the vehicle. We reimbursed the customer $154.70 for a battery they had bought and again thought everything was back on track. On August 14th we received fax and email communication from [redacted] Financial that they needed paid off on the vehicle, plus a $100 fee, since the customer had sent [redacted] a letter causing the financing to be cancelled. We complied with [redacted]’s request and subsequently returned the rest of the customer’s down payment picking up the vehicle which she has stated she can’ afford and doesn’t want. We understand a payment had been sent to [redacted] and we have sent reimbursement to the customer on August 22nd as well. At this point we have returned all monies the customer has paid either to us or to [redacted] or [redacted], for a battery, in an effort to unwind the deal that the customer has told us numerous times that she does not want nor can afford.

Tell us why here... I understand the feelings of being coerced and just not happy with the deal. This was apparent during the conversation with our office manager when the customer said the vehicle wasn’t affordable to her, the wipers didn’t work on intermittent setting, and had felt pushed into a deal that was too much payment. The term of the contract was limited by what the bank was willing to do, thus this leaves us with a deal that the customer is not happy with and why we unwound the deal and put the customer in the same place they were before the deal by returning all money.
