Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 6:PMTo: drteamSubject: Re: Revdex.com complaint id *** Sorry for the lagging responseMr*** came by several days ago and we had a long conversationWe went over his areas of concerns, and I showed him where the issues were on his carI advised him we were waiting on several small parts from Germany and would be repairing the problems as they arrivedAs of today the air conditioning concerns have been addressedThe piece to address the running concern is due to arrive tomorrowI assured Mr*** that I was taking this on personally and would get it repaired to his satisfactionI also let him know that I would be performing a thorough inspection of the entire automobile to advise of any other upcoming repairs his *** might requireWhen he left he seemed satisfied with that plan.*** McIntyre *** European***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint

I picked up the car and drove it home two weeks ago and Cut the engine off, and it wouldn't start again They came and picked the car up again As of today 9/27/ I am out of a lot of money and without a car
Regards,

Mr *** had his car towed in for a no start conditionHe also stated the car was not running properly and would like a "tune up"We asked if he would rather have us determine if there was an actual problem first e.g. low compression, faulty fuel system etcHe declined and asked us
to"just give it a tune-up"He also stated hat hot air was coming from the center vents and would like that looked at as well. Upon testing we found that his battery was no good and advised that he replace itHe states the battery was fairly new and that e would come get it to warranty it which he didWe also advised that we had temporarily installed a new battery for testing purposes and had determined the starter had a problemUnder cranking load (something that cannot be duplicated with bench testing) the starter draw exceeded amps and the starter sounded like grinding metalBecause of this we advised replacing the starterAfter completing the requested tune-up, the car still only ran on cylinders (the car is an cylinder)We called Mr*** an advised him of the issues regarding the running and asked him how he would like us to proceedHe asked us to determine the cause of the remaining misfiresWe determined that there was no output signal to cylinders and from the fuel injection control unitWe advised him of the cost and he authorized us to proceed with the replacement of the control unitWe also advised that whoever had been in his dash to install the aftermarket radio had re-assembled all the control cables incorrectly and had broken most of the plastic levers.Because of the age these parts had to come from GermanyThe levers arrived and were installed and the system functioned normallyThe car sat for several days before Mr*** arrived to pick it upI had driven the car that morning and noted that it ran poorly if the throttle was opened beyond about 60%Mr*** arrived to pick up the car and we advised him of the additional running problemHe left the car to have us determine the cause, which was traced to a worn throttle switchMr.*** declined this repair and several days later came to pick up his carHe called back about an hour later to state the car would not start but all the dash lights functioned and that warm air was mixing in the a/c againWe sent a tow truck to Mr*** house to retrieve the carupon arrival we checked the battery he supplied, it had voltsWe installed a new battery and the car started immediately and has started ever sinceWe are still trying to determine the cause of the a/c problem and have additional parts on order from Germany to replace a failed vacuum switch in the dashIn summary we are trying to address Mr*** concerns while dealing with an automobile that is over years oldWe always strive to exceed our customer expectations and sometimes we fail, but we are working through this in good faith to remedy the problems on Mr*** vehicleTell us why here
