We used Atlas to move from Iowa to Tenessee. I scheduled the move in April for June 1st or 2nd. On May 30th I was told they did not have a truck or a driver for our belongings so the local Atlas movers we're going to load our stuff and take it to their warehouse until it could be picked up. I was assured it would only be a matter of days. The local movers came to load us on May 31st. It sat in that warehouse til June 14th or 15th of June and then was loaded on a Old Dominion truck, not An Atlas truck. It arrived in Nashville on June 17th. Nashville is 45 mins from our house. It sat in a warehouse in Nashville until the morning of June 22nd. As the movers began taking all of our things off the truck we noticed that almost all of the larger items had damage. Even the items we listed separately on the high dollar item page were damaged. Our memory foam mattress was folded and walked on. There are dirty shoe prints on the back of it. Our smoker/gas/charcoal grill, that was less than a year old, was bent in half. Brand new treadmill looked like it had been dragged down the road. Dining room table and chair set, also less than a year old, came off the truck looking Lile it had been used for years. The list goes on and on and on. I filed a damage claim with the company June 24th. It has still not been settled. Today is August 19th. In an email I received today, I was told they have a 120 days to settle a claim. Ridiculous. Their customer service is atrocious. Emails never get replied to and if they do its of little information to what is happening with your claim. Phone calls never get returned. No one at Atlas cares at all about doing anything quickly or informatively. I have told everyone I know to not use Atlas. Maybe our move was their "exception to the rule" and it's generally not how they operate. Great. But how they've handled themselves through this whole process with us and our move is unexceptable and the main reason I tell people to use a different company. And why I am writing this review.
