Review: I purchased a vehicle from [redacted] at [redacted] in May of 2015. It needed tires so [redacted] arranged for me to go to Best American Tires & Wheels in Auburn and they would give me her deal and I would pay them. [redacted] quoted me approximately $500.00 which she was quoted from ** at the tire shop. I went over there and they installed 4 new Zeetex 265/75/16. I paid $700.00 cash to them and asked for a receipt but was told I don't get a receipt because they would send it to [redacted]. I did not understand that because I paid for them and it would be my warranty I would need to prove. My wife & I had just had a baby and I was in a hurry to get this done and spend a little time at home because I had to go back to work. I work construction and was working a lot of hours, out of town, so I thought when I was home I could take care of this discrepancy. I forgot about it until I had problems with my tires and went to Best American Tires & Wheels to take care of it. Two of the 4 tires have bubbles and are starting to separate. I went in to show him and he told me he could pro-rate them but I would have to buy 2 tires. Then he said he could give me used while I waited for the pro-rated tires. I told him I didn't want to pro-rate anything and I did not feel these tires were very good quality. I would just wait for them to blow and when the time came to get new tires, I would buy better quality ones somewhere else. All I wanted was the difference in money that he kept. Since I never got a receipt, it is his word against mine. I went to [redacted] and [redacted] produced a copy of the receipt which was for $510.00 a difference of $190.00. Before I left Best American Tire today he offered $100.00 but he could not do $190.00 or the option to pro-rate. Something is wrong at this business and I feel I am not the only one to be dissatisfied with the service received but maybe one of the ones willing to fight for what is right. I know part of the deal was to pay “no sales tax”, but that was not my doing. IDesired Settlement: refund the difference of the money I over paid, and make them do business the correct way. I have talked to several other people who have done business with them and none of them had a positive experience. They sell inferior products....square tires which don't make a smooth ride.
