Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: Jeff J*** has explicitly lied all throughout his responseI resent the manner that Jeff J*** address my son who he has never met and my dog who was in fact very secured on a heavy chain, no way of breaking free unless someone took her off and has NEVER attempted to bite or show teeth at anyone and there are witnesses to prove thisI will address the lies in order as stated by Jeff J***There were no other shops sent to diagnose the installation of the wall oven because HMS had no other contractors to do this installBest Appliance Services was the only contractor sent by HMS to do the install.It was NEVER diagnosed as "unrepairable"Jeff J***, himself, stated that the knew now that this install would take two men when he returned. I was home and I walked out in the yard with Jeff to the area where I wanted the old oven to be putIt was feet away from where my dog was chainedJeff was no where near my dog that was securely chained while we were outside as Jeff came back into my home and continued to do the install, a witness was here to verify thisMy dog is a mid sized dog (not large) and Jeff did ask if she was friendly and while we were "both" out by the area where he put the oven and I told Jeff she was At no time did my dog leave the chain that was very secured on herNot one time did Jeff J*** make an attempt to pet my dog either when we were out by the area he put the ovenFor Jeff J*** to say my dog charged at him, that was not possible, I was there and she was on her chainThe only way possible my dog could be off the heavy, secured chain would have been for someone to let her off the chainJeff admits that my dog was on a chain in his statement to the Revdex.com, so how did my dog get off the chain? She certainly was not off the chain while me and my witness were at my home and I was outside by where Jeff put the ovenJeff J*** has clearly lied about thisUnless he is making an admission that he let my dog loose and off the heavy secured chain while I ran an errand that he asked me to runWhy didn't Jeff mention this to me if my dog was off her chain and charged at him and got his pant leg? My dog was absolutely on her chain when we arrived back home as my witness knew this alsoIf she was off the chain to charge at Jeff J***, how is it that she was still on her chain when I arrived back home? Because Jeff J*** has lied that's whyI was with Jeff the whole time when he put the old oven where I wanted itMy dog never left the secured chainWhile I was at Lowe's getting the 2xthat Jeff J*** said he needed, Jeff J*** had cut into my cabinetry with what appeared a saw or something sharp in two different areas, also pulling apart the wood facing on the cabinetWhen I returned, I asked Jeff why he had to saw my cabinet and Jeff J*** told me to get my oven to fitJeff J*** never once asked me to cut my cabinetry the way he didIt is my opinion that Jeff knew he messed up my cabinetry and he did not want to pay for it's repairsI have pictures of my old oven in my cabinetry before Jeff started the install and removed the old oven and it clearly will show there were no cuts or breaks in the cabinetry before Jeff J*** removed the old ovenJeff J*** by law is to carry LIABILITY INSURANCE for damages to other people's property like this and when he failed to return to do the work of the oven installation, that is when I asked his wife for their Liability Insurance Company and she refused and raged at me over the phone several times, stating for me to contact my Homeowners Insurance Company and have them to pay for it even though it was not my fault or the fault of Insurance Company, this was Erin's solution to her husband, Jeff J***, damage to my cabinetryBest Appliance Services has refused to supply me with their Liability Insurance Company for the damages that Jeff J*** did to my cabinetryI have been told by HMS Home Warranty Services, that Best Appliance Services cannot deny me this information and that by law they have to provide me their Insurance information Both Jeff and Erin J*** have refused to supply me with their Liability coverageThe Revdex.com needs to address this specificallyWhen Erin called me the following week to let me know the additional cost for the sanding to be done by Jeff, I was a little upset that HMS would send me an oven that did not fit my cabinet but not at the contractorJeff has this all wrong and it was his wife I spoke to and not JeffI agreed to it and Erin stated that Jeff would not be able to get to this until April 4, the following TuesdayI didn't want to wait that long, but I was never furious about anything.I did ask his wife, Erin, if there was a way to cut this extra expense, like if there was another method Jeff could do and she told me that she would ask JeffI did tell Erin that my son was an engineer boss and that I would have him to see if he could make any recommendations to how to go about thisErin agreed to this and never once did I ever say my son would be sanding the cabinet, or that he would size the cabinet to fit the oven because if my son had intentions of sizing the cabinet, Jeff J*** would have no longer been needed because my son could have easily put the oven in the cabinet and secured itErin was the one who told Jeff J*** that my son would do the work and that was a lie, I never told Erin this at allWhen Erin told me that Jeff would not be able to get to me until 4/4/17, I just waitedThen on Thursday, March 30, 2017, Jeff called me and wanted to confirm my appointment for TuesdayI did not check my answering machine until the next day, Friday, March 31, 2017, and upon doing so I called and left a voice message at the J***'s home and business address number confirming Tuesday's appointmentTuesday came and I got a call from Jeff J*** at 9:am, asking me if my cabinet was done yetI had no idea why Jeff would ask thisI told Jeff that my son only gave ideas and without calling his wife a liar about what her saying that my son would do the work on the cabinetry, I told Jeff that my son never once said he would do the workJeff then told me that he had no tools on his truck to start anything even though we had an appointmentJeff went on to say that Erin would have to reschedule another appointmentAt this point, I was beginning top become irritated because I had already done without my oven for almost months nowJeff said Erin would call me, she never didWhen I called the business number, she would not answerI tried several times and finally I called blocking my number out and Erin answeredErin began talking hateful to me and finally I told her that Jeff needed to get my cabinetry fixed that he damaged and that I did not want Jeff J*** back in my home that this was the real reason he did not want to come back because he damaged my cabinetry and now he has a liabilityI asked for their Liability Insurance Company and Erin refused and then hung up on meBy this time I was very upset and called HMS to report Jeff J***Jeff J*** must supply this information about his Liability Insurance because Jeff J*** damaged my cabinetryThe only reason I can think that he would refuse this information to me would be because it is possible Jeff J*** may not have the Liability Insurance that he must carry to be a contractor otherwise why would he deny this informationThere is proof and a witness that Jeff J*** did this damageJeff J*** says that I started to complain yet again that HMS should have done the repair at "no cost" to me and went on to say that he was wasting his time that he could be using on a "paying g customerThen again in the next sentence he shames my son as a "Lazy Engineer" saying that I want something for nothingI want to say to these ignorant, untrue statements of Jeff J***, I have Never asked HMS to do this repair for free nor did I ask Jeff J*** to do this repair for free but to the contrary, I paid my copayment to HMS contractor on the onset and if Jeff J*** had of done what HMS was paying him to do I had the payment of $in cash to pay him upon completionI did expect his payment of my cabinetry to another contractor of my choice but it was Jeff J*** skipping out on a damage payment due to meI have Never ask for something to be done for nothingMy family and I are very honest people, we do not operate like thatJeff J*** has cheated meJeff J*** has skipped out on a damage claim that I expect him or his Liability Insurance to pay forRefusing to supply Liability Insurance after damaging someone's property is illegal to do and both Jeff and Erin J*** has refused to supply this information to me as he has stated in this responseAnother thing the Revdex.com needs to address as it's now in writing! As far as the shameful comments regarding my son coming from Jeff J***, Jeff J*** does not know my son, nor has he ever met himWhat gives Jeff J*** the right to slander my son's name and defame his character when my son has done nothing to deserve this from Jeff J***? Clearly this speaks a lot of the character of Jeff J*** to defame and insult someone he has never met or even knows to say such a horrible thing about my sonI won't throw defamation of insults at Jeff J*** nor will I be ignorant and say demeaning responses of or about Jeff J***, but I will focus on what it is Jeff J*** is trying to do and that is cause damages in my home and then skip out on his being liable of the damagesAs far as my son helping me to saving me money, that is a a family matter that should not be a concern of Jeff J*** but to do what he was hired to do by my HMS Warranty Company, the company who sent Jeff J*** to my home to complete the oven installation which he failed to doInstead Jeff J*** chooses to defame and humiliate someone he doesn't even knowBy Jeff and Erin J*** clearly refusing to supply me his Liability Insurance information on a damage claim Jeff J*** caused my cabinetry, the Revdex.com needs to investigate his refusal that is illegal to doIf I damage someone's car and I refuse to provide them with my Insurance information, I can be suedI do hope the Revdex.com issues a request for proof of Liability Insurance coverage from Jeff J***I also hope the Revdex.com is noticing that Jeff J*** has slandered my son as well as defamation of characterMy son will be given a copy of Jeff J***'s response to do with it what he mayJeff J*** has called my dog vicious and that is also a lie and many, many witnesses to this as wellJeff J*** keeps insulting my son and his profession by comments like "if in fact he is an Engineer" that he should know that trim board is not a structural itemMy son is an Engineer and makes well over $100,a year MrJ*** and that is a fact sir and has nothing to do with your damage of my cabinetryJeff J*** asked "if he did have a saw and in fact cut the cabinet, why didn't he go ahead and put it inWell Jeff J*** answered that question and Jeff J*** should know that answerJeff J***'s answer to me was that "he had other appointments scheduled that day that he was already late to and that he would have to come back that following Tuesday or Wednesday, March 28th or 29th, and Jeff J*** failed to show either of those days as wellJeff J*** says he must for permission to saw or cut but the fact is Jeff J*** did not ask me because I was sent to Lowe's by Jeff J*** for a 2xand that is when he did the damage to my cabinetry as I asked Jeff J*** about it when I returnedJeff continues to insult, defame, and slander me, my dog and my son by saying I lie, my dog is vicious, and calling my son an over opinionated busy Engineer boss sonI do hope the Revdex.com can see the illegals in Jeff J***'s response and will capitalize on his remarks and refusal to supply legal information on this damage he walked off and left me withJust in this response from Jeff J***, he has refused to supply his Liability Insurance as well as committed other acts against me, my son and my dog without any kind of substantiated proof on what he has put in writingI have all proof as well as proof that HMS has of his attempts to pursue additional money from them on this installation and skipped out on them as wellHMS had me to find a contractor of my choice to complete the job that Jeff J*** was supposed to do and did notJeff J*** states that he was entertained by the comments that I had written to the Revdex.com on my complaint of himThese complaints are nothing to take as entertainment and are serious especially when a contractor damages a home owners property then refuses to give Liability Insurance information to them to file a claimIf Jeff J*** thinks this was entertaining, then the Revdex.com must reassure Jeff and Erin J*** this is far from entertaining, but legalities involvedNot supplying iInsurance information is a big deal and I am sorry that Jeff J*** thinks otherwiseNo one ever asked Jeff J*** to do this work for free as he claims, he would have been paid from HMS and myselfFrom reading the last few sentences of Jeff J*** quoting what I had said then about me calling my HMS Home Warranty Company, clearly Jeff J*** thinks this is something like in a story book and he is very entertained about all he has read of my complaintJeff J*** feels that Defamation of Character and refusal to supply his Liability Insurance coverage is also entertainingI am appalled by Jeff J*** saying this and if the Revdex.comI has not see some criminal intent in Jeff J***'s response to my complaint, then there is something seriously wrongI challenge the Revdex.com to present to their legal department based upon Jeff J*** feeling that he can do illegal things and get away with it and actually finds it entertainingIf Best Appliance Services have done me wrong, how many more has or will he do wrong? I cannot stress this enough, If the Revdex.com cannot see there is something seriously wrong in the response of Jeff J*** and the lies he has told, the insulting and defaming remarks about my son and my dog, then refusal to supply Liability Insurance on damages he did in my home, something is seriously wrong and this will need to go further up the chain of command

In reference to claim#[redacted] for [redacted], My company (Best Appliance Service LLC) was called to do an install of a single wall oven because several other shops including the one who diagnosed it "unrepairable" turned down the work due to needing a second man to help lift the old oven out...

and the new one back into place. The unit only weighs in at 117lbs so I Jeff J[redacted] said I could handle this alone. On March 25th 2017 I met with [redacted] who was delighted to see me because of her wait to to get her oven installed. I then proceeded to remove the old oven and disconnect the power source and strap the oven to my dolly for removal. I unpackaged the new unit and noticed the height was significantly shorter so I asked [redacted] for a tape measure and sure enough the unit was about 3-4 inches in height shorter. I asked [redacted] if she had any 2x4 boards lying around to fasten to the cabinet as to raise the unit to reduce the gap above the new wall oven. [redacted] was provided the dimensions of the new wall oven by [redacted] her home warranty group to insure the new wall oven would fit. It is the Home Owners responsibility to modify the cabinet if necessary as was stated by her Home Warranty. [redacted] could not find any 2x4's at her home that day so had offered to run to Lowes to pick some up. I asked if she could have them cut by Lowes as I did not have a saw or any other tool to cut them with to fit in the cabinet. All Lowes stores have an Industrial saw that can cut lumber for free. Before [redacted] left for Lowes I asked where I could put the old oven and she replied that someone wanted it for scrap and to leave it by the trash cans inside the gate behind the garage. Noticing that she had a large dog tied up in close proximity I asked if the dog was friendly, she replied "yes" and not to worry. [redacted] and another woman that was there in the house left me there by myself to do the install. I was not comfortable with this at all. I proceeded to take the old oven out on the dolly and carefully up the driveway to the back of the garage, where the so called friendly dog was chained up. I only had my back to the animal for seconds while I set down the old oven and began to unstrap the unit and I heard the dog charge! Is quickly turned to a mouth full of teeth and a deep growl. [redacted]s Dog bit my leg but luckily had only caught the pant leg and not any skin. Once again why did [redacted] and the other woman leave me alone with a ferocious dog. One of them could have stayed at the house to one keep the animal calm and to make sure I did not get hurt. I backed away from the animal slow and went back into the house where once I calmed down I proceeded to test fit the oven. The first test fit proved that the height was not the only problem. The width was now an issue as well. I measured the width of the opening and the oven and the cabinet was going to need modified for the new oven, around 1/4" on both sides of the opening and three additional boards inside the cabinet. Around 15 min later [redacted] and the other woman showed up with an uncut 2X4 with a length of around 8 foot. The board was not cut because supposedly no one was available to use the industrial saw at lowes, So it was very clear to me that with all that was needed to be done that this oven was not going to be installed that day. I then informed [redacted] that the oven width was also larger than the original oven by 1/2" and the cabinet would need to be sanded down to accomidate the new oven. I did not have any tools on my truck for wood working as I am not a carpenter but an appliance repair man. I instructed [redacted] that I would have to reschedule for another day when I had the time to sand down the five pieces of wood inside of the cabinet opening to properly fit the new single wall oven and to get additional labor to pay me for my time. I offered to do the sanding with my dustless sander to keep the mess to a minimum. [redacted] happily agreed and I left the property to continue my route. Later that day I called [redacted]s Home Warranty to request more time and money for the oven install. The request was denied stating in her contract that modifications to the home are the responsibility of the home owner and are not covered. I called [redacted] shortly after and informed her that the modification was not covered and there would be an additional charge to sand the boards in her cabinet to fit the new wall oven. I told [redacted] that I could do the sanding of the cabinet for 1.5 hours of my labor plus tax which was $96. [redacted] was furious that her home warranty was not paying for this and continued to repeat that it should be covered. Not wanting to pay the additional $96 for "modifications" she said that her Son would do the work instead. I was ok with this and asked her to call me when the work was done so I could finish the install of the oven and get paid for the install by [redacted]. About a week later Erin in the office confirmed an appointment with [redacted], that she was ready for the oven install and an appointment was set for Tuesday the following week between 9am and 11am. I called [redacted] within the timeframe on Tuesday and asked if her son had finished the cabinet. She replied "no" but he had made suggestions to Cut the Cabinet in specified areas to clear the screws on the sides of the new wall oven. I replied to [redacted] that I was told she was going to have her son modify the cabinet and it was done. Frustrated but professional I told [redacted] at this point I was going to have to reschedule because I did not bring my sander or any tool for that manner to modify her cabinet. I new right away when she started to complain yet again that [redacted] should have done this repair at no cost to her because it was the right thing to do, that I was not getting paid for my time and that she had waisted a time slot that could have gone to a paying customer. [redacted] and her lazy Engineer son are out to waste peoples time and have the something for nothing attitude. After the countless lies about Erin hanging up on her, not true by the way, and reschedules, her vicious dog her Son the engineer that can look at her wall oven and only offer up ideas instead of helping his mother save money, we have decided to move on and let someone else deal with her mess. [redacted] has also accused me (Jeff J[redacted]) of damaging her cabinet. The only thing I physically did to the cabinet because I did not have any wood working tools was move the painted white cabinet trim apart with my hands to gain 1/4 of an inch for the initial oven install. I did not and I repeat did not cut anything. If [redacted]s son is in fact an engineer he would understand that oven wall casing (trim board) is not a structural item. Fact is if I did have a saw and in fact cut the cabinet, why would I not have just installed the oven? The job would have been complete that day and I would have gotten paid and [redacted] would be a happy customer. However I would not cut into a cabinet without permission from the customer if I did have a saw or any other tool to do a carpenters job over a 1/2 of an inch. Sanding the Cabinet would be a much safer alternative to cutting into a structural area. Jeff J[redacted] and Best Appliance Service LLC will not be returning to [redacted]s residence due to her lies, vicious dog and her over opinionated busy engineer boss son. I did get the chance to read [redacted]s complaint to the Revdex.com and was very entertained by the amount of lies that were fabricated because she was not satisfied with her home warranty group or the fact I was not going to do work for free. [redacted] said in her report to the Revdex.com that she had pictures of the damage to the cabinet before and after, this solidifies the fact that the trim was moved and not cut and also that it was nothing structural because the picture shows only the white wood trim with the oven in place in the before picture. I am not offering up my insurance info or money of any kind to move two pieces of wood trim back 1/8' each. You could do this by hand or if not strong enough lightly tap with a block of wood and a small hammer. Also [redacted] accused Erin of Raging and being hateful, not sure what raging means but Erin is very professional and at the worst would only excuse herself from the conversation and politely end the call. The best part of the letter to the Revdex.com was actually a part where [redacted] lied in black in white. It clearly reads "I left a message stating that if Best Appliance did not pay another contractor to fix my cabinet that I would take actions by calling an attorney or taking some other form of actions against them." Then a few sentences later "I did call [redacted] again and they told me that Erin from Best Appliance Services called [redacted] and Erin stated that I threatened to sue them. I told [redacted] again, Erin had this all wrong that she was again lying and that I had called the Revdex.com ect" In Black ink [redacted] lied to everyone.
