I had a conversation with Best Benefits, which was predictable in most respects.  They played a tape from 2009 that they claim justifies their theft of my money in that I OK'd it.  If you were to do any background research on this matter you'd come across numerous anecdotal references by disgruntled victims of "doctored" recordings that it takes them "a week or ten days to access."  In some of their many suits for swindling, the judges have declared these tapes invalid as to their deceptive content as well as the extreme likelihood that they've been edited and or altered to comply with some sort of legal grey area they feel shields them from prosecution.  According to the statements made by other victims and their advocates that can be found on line by  [redacted] Best Benefits, the only way to get my money back is to stubbornly keep filing complaints until they give back my money.  A few key points I would like to reiterate: Best Benefits has an F rating from the Revdex.com, [redacted] has been successfully sued for $150,000,000 in regards to their role in illegally providing depositors information to Best Benefits.  In fact, the several times I've spoken to Best Benefits, I've been greeted as a [redacted] Preferred customer, and they try to maintain the fiction that they are part of the family of [redacted] family of insurance companies.  Even if I had consented to try their $1 special offer, which was immediately billed at $19.95 that day and every month thereafter, they never provided me with anything for the money except a bill for a service that [redacted] mis-led me to believe was a service charge related to my auto loan.  When I did cancel the charge on more than one occasion, it was re-instated against my express wishes.  I was told "It must be a mandatory charge for your auto loan."  These facts were given to me by a [redacted] employee who looked into this matter.  I've also filed a complaint against [redacted] which they keep trying to dismiss.  To date I've never received anything from Best Benefits even remotely resembling the product they say I bought, a medical services discount book.  I have full VA health coverage and have no need or use for such a product.  It's obvious they had all my account information on hand prior to the call because when I asked the BB spokesperson "where's the part where I give you my account and or billing information?"  He said that as a courtesy to their Preferred Customers, [redacted] provided that information to facilitate the sales process.  I am also taking other measures to combat this theft and I am grateful for your kind attention to this matter and hope that it will continue.  Thank you for all you do.   [redacted]

Review: In June of 2009 Best Benefits started charging me $19.95 per month for some sort of Health care related product which I don't need, never asked for,and never authorized. I was never provided with the product(s) or contacted by mail about this matter and only became aware of the charges recently when the charge caused an overdraft in my [redacted] account. I've contacted both parties several times with unsatisfactory results. They did refund 2 months of charges as per the law, and though both parties have promised to look into the matter, I feel they're just hoping I give up on recovering the money which they have defrauded me of. I would like a refund of all the money they have removed from my account without my permission, a sum totaling over $1200.00. As a veteran, I receive full VA coverage and would have no use for the product as it has been described to me. Add to that, the fact that they never provided me with any product and did nothing for me beyond defrauding me of $19.95 per month for some years.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund. It would be nice to think that [redacted] would take a more pro-active approach in dealing with matters such as these. They feign a total lack of knowledge concerning this companies actions in spite of [redacted] being sued for Millions of dollars (successfully) by varied groups of irate depositors, all of whom were likewise bilked in a similar fashion. When I called the Best Benefits number they Kept referring to me as a "[redacted] Preferred Customer." A number of [redacted] Bank officers were prosecuted for being involved in this fraud scheme by providing Best Benefits with depositors information as well as allowing them to mis-represent themselves as agents of [redacted]'s insurance product services division.

Review: for over 2 years [redacted] account charged 19.95 a month from best benefits with no paperwork as to what this charge is for this was not authorized. When I called was I was told it is accident insurance. I informed them I never authorized it and would like a refund of all monies deducted from my account. I had been in and out of the hospital for the last 3 years and never filed a claim nor checked into this coverage because never requested it or received any information on it was told to check into filing a claim I do not want to file anything I just want what I feel was stolen from meDesired Settlement: would like all money deducted form my account refunded.

Review: From June of 2009 till Dec of 2013 Best Benefits has been taking $19.95 per month out of my checking account for an ersatz Medical discount club membership I didn't want and then never sent me anything at all vis-a-vis a card or book or discount coupons or whatever it is they purport too sell. I've filed a complaint on this before and the company doesn't respond or react. Hence their "F" rating.Desired Settlement: I want my money back, and I want them to stay out of my life.
