The *** family special ordered a 1/x Reno pool table onNovember 27, This table is not an item I carry or display orkeep in inventory The *** made their decision based on a catalogpicture and knew the only color this model came in was Antique Walnut. It also had
a rustic finish which complemented their room Thecustom table was ordered, received and delivered on December 15th, As the table was unboxed Mr *** seemed to think the tablehe received was in error He called the store and questioned me Ichecked the SKU number from the Imperial Catalog and it matched theproduct we were set to install in his home H then claimed the tablewas not right and he wasn't going to pay for it At the time hecalled Best Billiards the whole shopping center had a power outage.However, I called our installer and told him to let *** know I couldbe reached by my cell phone It was agreed *** would come in andshow me how wrong the color was on the following Monday We were verybusy as we were on the Saturday and Sunday before Christmas I had 3customers before I could talk to *** I called the salesman fromImperial and so *** could listen I gave him our main phone To helpthings along, I took a picture of the rail overlayed against thecatalog picture to compare the product color and the picture Jeff,the salesman from Imperial and I both agreed it matched *** didn'tlike our opinions so he threw my phone down on the table and broke theringer on the condless handset He proceeded to call I believe hislawyer He proceeded to tell him he wan't getting a "positiveresponse from me I told him I would be happy to talk to lawyer and Iwas available until 7:30pm any night.The *** then called the manufacturer to complain about the productwasnt what they wanted and me as the Imperial representative.Imperial, regardless of the facts wanted me to remove the table.The end result is the manufacturer and the *** are made whole bymy refund of their deposit Best Billiards now has a table theCollins special ordered to be delivered before Christmas A pickup ofthe table has been scheduled and refund done on their credit card.Best Billiards has dealt with many customers over years ofsatisfying the public The *** will hopefully find satisfactionof special ordering another pool table and enjoying it for many years
