I called this company on 5/7/15 to schedule an appointment for service of my newly purchased lawn mower that would not start. [redacted], one of the workers, who was certified in Troy-Bilt agreed to come to my home to make the repair. He never showed up nor did he call to let me know he was not coming. I called him again on 5/8/15 to find out what had happened he assured me he would come out to my home for the repair. Again, [redacted] did not show up nor did he attempt to call me. I took my mower to this company for a routine tune-up. I called and was told it would take 2 weeks to get to it, and I was given a price of $45 if all it needed was the basic maintenance. I dropped it off and didn't realize until I got home that the claim ticket was dated for 3 weeks, not 2. Oh, well, I was hoping it might get done sooner. It didn't. They called me on the pick-up day and told me it needed a carburetor overhaul (which I had done last year) I told them just do the tune-up and I'll pick it up the next day. I went the next day and they had not even started working on it. The guy did seem sincerely apologetic. I came back two days later and had to pay $55 for the basic tune-up. I told them the person on the phone said 45, but they said she was wrong and this is what I had to pay. I should have gotten the estimate in writing.

I brought my electric start lawn mower to Best because it would not start with the key. I told them I had the mower for 3 years and never had a problem. They blew me off thinking I didn't know how to start it. I paid almost $300 for them to fix it and bought a new battery but it still wouldn't start. Gas tank was leaking which they never told me. I took it to Sears and replaced the gas tank, put a new spark plug, and bought another battery (Best battery not holding a charge) and it starts fine now. I would NEVER recommend Best.
