I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***. I will not engage in a conversation with this obviously distraught ownerThis is a poor attempt to utilize every means possible as an excuse not to pay meIt is obvious through his own words he never intended to reimburse me even after agreeing to do soI can only hope you can see through his unprofessional behavior and warn other consumers of him!

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].
Please add to the rejection of the business owner's response That it is appalling that a business owner would misrepresent himself and create a clear fabrication of the story in a blatant attempt to deter the focus of what the real issue is, Mr [redacted] behavior. He was unprofessional, intimidating, and threatening in nature and this was the reason for the reimbursement request for the remainder of the classes I was unable to take have this incident. Mr [redacted] attempt to twist the facts to cover up his inadequacies by projecting blame onto me as a consumer is absurd. It is apparent through his emails to me that he indicated ownership for his inappropriate behavior bu stating " I apologize for my mood" This is unacceptable. I only made verbal arrangements, after that session, out of fear for my safety. Mr [redacted] unpredictable behavior created a hostile situation and not knowing what he would do next I made the best decision for myself and that was to leave the situation peacefully. I then sent an email requesting a $400.00 reimbursement by 3/18/2016 that were for the remainder of the classes that I did not use do to his behavior. His unwillingness to make things right and refund the whole amount , he counter offered with a $200 reimbursement as he stated "as a gesture of good will". I agreed to the offer, and still have not received any reimbursement even after he stated  "you should receive it in a few days" The first email was on 2/28/2016 all most a month later. I am completely unmoved by his attempt to cast a shadow of doubt over the problem. Let me be clear this is not about dog training, this is about Mr [redacted] intimidating, threatening, unprofessional behavior.

The contract states in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS that there are no refunds.  The client willingly signed that contract AFTER the first lesson. I agreed to a refund of $200 as a gesture of peace. I did not agree on any date or promise a refund by any date certain. She should receive the refund in a...

few days. However, the complaint is not true. I never yelled at this client, and I explained exactly what I was talking about. My comments had little to do with her 'bumping into her dog.' I made that clear, and I also apologized that I had not been clear enough since that appeared to be the case - when she emailed me the next day to demand a refund. This client came for help in handling a reactive dog, and I was completely justified in pointing out her error … that was why she hired me. I offer no apologies for that. To fail to point out her error would be unethical and would allow the problems for which she enrolled to continue without change. This client came for the second lesson completely un-prepared, having failed to follow my instructions, and it seems she resented having that pointed out to her. The complaint appears to be a thinly veiled attempt to void the contract because of an unwillingness to follow instructions.Further, rather than end the lesson and complain at that time, she continued the lesson, agreed on the schedule for the next lesson, and agreed to be in contact during the week to let me know of her progress with the dog. She left me with the clear impression that everything was fine and that she was finally willing to follow my instructions. In retrospect, I should have dismissed her and ended the session because she was not cooperative and had not followed my instructions from the first lesson. While I accept no responsibility for her failure/refusal to follow my instructions, I will refund her $200 as a gesture of good will.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. I responded to the original complaint and agreed to give a $200 refund.  The client now responds that I 'intimidated and threatened' her.  I do not take such false accusations lightly and I hereby rescind my offer of a $200 refund.  I have the contract, signed by the client AFTER the first lesson, and I have video to support my claims. The accusation that I 'intimidated and threatened her is absolutely false, and is apparently calculated to damage my reputation. There is no reason for this client - who showed very clearly that she was unwilling to follow through with the instructions I had given her - to claim that I threatened or intimidated her. Given that accusation, I will now stand by the contract without compromise. There will be no refund. And I am now considering legal action in regards to the libelous claim that I was 'threateneing and intimidating.'[redacted]
