This car came in on tow truck not running. We advised her that vehicle needed new engine, it wasn't in her budget so we found a used unit for her, there was additional issues "noted"on invoice that were addressed and some that were not . (see inv) We explained to her when picking up the car...
that it needed gas as it ran out while dialing in the new motor and we can only put in 1 gallon . She took car and 1/2 hour later telling us car stopped running, we explained that if she didn't put gas in and car and we towed it, she would be responsible for tow. (sure enough, we put gas in and ran perfect) After refusing to pay for tow, she began being violent and made threats to cause physical harm to my employees. The police were called. She also made call to friends that were on their was "to take care of us". The police were going to make arrest to her but we didn't want to pursue any charges. We then agreed to let her take the car w/o tow being paid. Sadly it's true and I don't feel comfortable having her here, but did explain that is there's an issue with motor it's under warranty from supplier's junk yard. We have an A+ rating w/you guys and have been here 43 years. This is not even proven to be engine related and there was history of other electronic related issues(sic?) Owner of Monroe Transmission
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We had our day in court in which both cases were heard. My self and Monroe Transmission had the opportunity to state our case clearly. The case was then turned over and left in the hands of the judge to decide the case. With all do respect the judge rendered his decision. As a business that has stated they've been in business for many years I'm not understanding why they are deliberately ignoring a court order. I was awarded a judgement and I should receive what the court ordered Monroe Transmission to pay. I paid the money for the service all I want is what was granted to me. The person in court for Monroe Transmission stated that a warranty was not giving with my engine and that's documented on the court summons. First time I'm hearing of me on the phone calling people to come up to the shop that's all false allegation and was never mention in court. To close this matter and move on I just want Monroe Transmission being a business with integrity to resolve this issue correctly. If the case had been in their favor I would've of respected the judge decision and that's all I'm asking from them please respect the judge decision and send me the payment that was granted to me.
