As I told Mrs*** on the phone we are truly sorry this has happened and wish that? it would never happen to any of our customersWe have been here since and strive to do everything by the letter of the lawLike she stated we did sell said vehicle to her with now warranty with a
current Missouri state safety inspectionAlso like she stated we would be more than happy to offer our mechanic at? discount price but unfortunately she is? too far awayShe states that her? "Mechanic" says that the vehicle should not have passed inspection simply because of a water pump ( which when on our lot? NEVER gave any indication of it being bad matter of fact it ran and drove so good they purchased? said vehicle) and like she stated I informed her that water pumps have? nothing to do with a Missouri state inspectionI even asked her to call the Highway patrol and ask themI assume after receiving this complaint she has not done thatI did however just to confirm that water pumps have? NOTHING TO DO WITH INSPECTIONS ? and I was correct in saying that after giving them a call( I urge you to do the same? MO Highway Patrol? # ###-###-####)? Further more here is a link to? the? Missouri State Vehicle Inspection hand book which I urge her? "Mechanic" to read over? to refresh his knowledge of the inspection process and its requirements.? ? ***? She is right I am not a Missouri state vehicle inspector but like stated above we have been in business since and have had? THOUSANDS of cars inspected over the years and we are very familiar with the process.? She also stated that she never saw the warranty available any? where in our office.(after buying vehicles from us) ? We have? big? yellow stickers on both entry doors at eye level coming in to our office and shop and further more? *** pamphlets hanging just below our A+ rated Revdex.com plaque in our office right next to our delivery desk where they signed all of their paper work on all three vehicles.? We can provide pictures if neededWe? can also provide copies of the paper work that was signed and? initialed multiple time stating that the bought said vehicle with no? warrantyWe? can also provide a copy of the Inspection slip if needed? In closing? we are sorry this has? happened and wish that every vehicle we sell? would last for ever but? they are used vehicles and we can not foresee the future and have no idea when something is going to break.? We do have an independent warranty available? for purchase at the time of saleWe also offered our discounted mechanic and parts which we are not required to do but we did offer thatOnce these vehicles leave our lot we have no control over themEven the multi-billion dollar companies like? I am rejecting this response because: I feel that response was very condescending. Twice he referred to my mechanic in quotation marks. That man has been in business for over 25 years and has been inspecting cars for that long. Just because we don't live in a town as large as Independence doesn't mean we are ignorant. I called the business, at the urging of my certified mechanic, because he said an unsafe vehicle should never pass inspection even if the brakes and horn work. I will never do business with them again.

She states that her "Mechanic" says that the vehicle should not have passed inspection simply because of a water pump ( which when on our lot NEVER gave any indication of it being bad matter of fact it ran and drove so good they purchased said vehicle) and like she stated I informed her that water pumps have nothing to do with a Missouri state inspection. I even asked her to call the Highway patrol and ask them. I assume after receiving this complaint she has not done that. We  can also provide copies of the paper work that was signed and initialed multiple time stating that the bought said vehicle AS-IS with no warranty. We can also provide a copy of the Inspection slip if needed.  In closing we are sorry this has happened and wish that every vehicle we sell would last for ever but they are used vehicles and we can not foresee the future and have no idea when something is going to break. We do have an independent warranty available for purchase at the time of sale. We also offered our discounted mechanic and parts which we are not required to do but we did offer that. Once these vehicles leave our lot we have no control over them. Even the multi-billion dollar companies like General Motors who built said car do not even warranty it any longer and they are the ones that built it. We are just a small mom and pop car lot that sells vehicles that are 5-15 years old and are out of their manufacturers warranty.
