Best Buy Flooring installed a floor for Ms*** after another flooring company had been there and she claimed they ruined her floor. We only redid the floor. There was no quarter round nor was quarter round part of her ticket. There is no damage from us to steps, entryway,
baseboards or staircase. All damages that she complained about were done by the previous flooring company.The total cost of the job was $2682.00. We refunded $for backer board and tear out that was not needed.We have done our part and other work required would be between her and the other work required would be between her and the other flooring company she previously hired.Thank you very much

I am rejecting this response because:My floor is NOT complete.I will send pictures. The contractor took the quarter round off and it was his job to put it back on.The grout haze is not cleaned off the floor. Mortar and grout was not cleaned off based boards, doors, walls, and stairs. Floor not completely groutedAnd not grouted underneath stove, refrigerator or dishwasherTiles are cracked and others need to be replaced.I was just letting you know they tried to charge me with items I did not receive and I had to send pictures to the credit card company to get that money backThey refused to give it back *** came out and reviewed and said/promised he would get someone out hereHe did not!!!!! I am going to have to have my completed

Beware of this company! Fraud & did really bad job
They said the job will take and 1/days and it ended up being days, extra nights for us to sleep on the couch
They did bad job on my master bedroom and bathrooms flooringSome of the floor they installed were raised, not smoothThey didn't installed the floor all the way to the wall, still big gap (even baseboard won't cover it)They destroyed my original baseboardsThis caused us more time to money to finish their jobWe had to get new baseboards and cutter to cut the tiles and we had to install it by ourselves
We tried to call them to voice our complaint once the workers left the house and the woman who answered the phone was very rude, not apologetic at all and they did not send someone to inspect the job to verify what we told them
The job was $4,same as cash for months, we signed the paper and they opened a new credit line for usThey also charged $7,to our credit card unauthorized

Review: I had purchase a vacuum cleaner from Best Buy in the new store that was not listed, the Best Buy at [redacted], MD [redacted]. I had called the store at Store # [redacted] and spoke with a person in customer service and told them that my vacuum cleaner had stop working, and because I was sick and could not bring the vacuum cleaner in at the time, the warranty was active when I called, because it was so close to the warranty date being expired could I bring it in at a later date they stated that I could just bring the medical documents showing that I was sick and unable to come at the time, which I did. When I came into the store to exchange the vacuum cleaner I was told that my warranty was up by close to a week, I told the clerk that I had spoken to someone and they stated I can as long as I had proof that I was sick at the time. I was denied the exchange for my vacuum cleaner, for something that would work. I had purchase the 2 years warranty and was denied. I had called before that expiration date informing Best Buy that the vacuum cleaner was no longer operating, and that at the time I was sick an unable to bring in the item. I was told that if I had proof of medical documentation that I would be able to exchange the vacuum cleaner for one within the price for equal value. I was given a toll - free number for warranty when I called the customer service stated that I had to purchased another plan that cost much more than the warranty plan I purchase at time of purchase around $39.00 that was quoted to me, I told customer service I will call them back. Since they refuse to honor what was told to me, I filed a consumer complaint with your office.Desired Settlement: I would like for Best Buy to honor what was told to me by their customer service, and since I had purchase the warranty and I was only some days late due to sickness and have the medical documentation to proof and it was told to me that I could bring in the medical proof and that their store would honor it.
