Review: On March 18th, my company's credit card was compromised and someone called in a fradulent telephone order pretending to be my manager. [redacted] contacted us right away about this irregular account activity detected. The card was replaced right away and the old card was terminated.

On March 21st, the [redacted] projector that was phoned in by someone pretending to be my manger arrived at our office. My manager and myself have tried to contact Best Buy PCS several times about this matter about returning the product back to them. Everytime I speak to someone they take my name and phone number down, tell me, that they are going to return my call but that never happens. [redacted] is doing their own investigation but, we wanted to expedite this matter as soon as possible. We would like the company to send us a return ship label and be refunded $2,299.00 that was charged to our [redacted] Corporate Credit Card fraudulently.

We think this is scam that this company does because, we have received no cooperation with this matter.Desired Settlement: We would like to be refunded $2, 299.00 for the projector and send us a return shipment label on their end so we can return this product back to them.

I am very surprised to read this complaint. We were contacted by the customer but also had a signed POD (Proof of Delivery) from FedEx with the receptionist's signature. We are working with [redacted] to resolve the issue, however, the company and an official employee did sign for the unit. Our question would be who went to the receptionist's desk for the projector? That would most likely be the person who ordered the unit!

I am rejecting this response because:

Like I have stated on my previous complaint to the Revdex.com and when I contacted Best Buy PCS. The projector was ordered FRADUENTLY. The receptionist signs for ALL incoming packages in our company. A signed receipt from [redacted] proves absolutely nothing. Noone ordered the projector from our office. The receptionist didn't & my manager surely didn't. NOONE ordered the projector from my company. The credit card was compromised. The individual called in an order and pretended to be my manager for the third time. Why is Best Buy PCS giving us the run around. If we had purchased the projector, there wouldn't be an issue at all.

We feel badly for this customer. The receptionist must have given to someone? Didn't they sign for it? Doesn't the receptionist know who picked it up from her? It is a large piece of equipment, there has to be some record of the peron who took it from the receptionist!

Our hands are tied because [redacted] will show the company officially received the package and they will not reimburse the unit.

Review: I purchased a brand new TV on bestbuypcs.com and they delivered a used TV to me. The TV was missing manual and couple parts. When I called them to complaint, after several calls, they finally agreed to return the TV and issue a refund. Their shipper picked up the TV from my home and gave me a receipt. Its been a month since and I've not received a refund yet. Every time I call them, they promise that the refund is on the way and nothing happens. The TV was purchased on January 7th.

Customer did order a TV with a special promotion from Samsung for over $1,000 discount. The unit was shipped directly to the customer and he did, indeed, claim it had been previously opened. We offered additional discounts but the customer chose, in the end, not to accept the TV and had it shipped to our facility. We did send a refund check and customer did receive and cash the check.

We are not always in control of the product as we typically have units shipped from distributors. We do, however, offer a 14 day policy in situations the customer is not satisfied. this is what occurred in this situation and the system worked accordingly.

Review: We purchased a Panasonic TC - P65VT50 - Plasma TV - 1080p (FullHD) [redacted] advertised for $2878 with free shipping on March 24,2013.

The next day a representative named [redacted] called us to inform us there was an additional "service Fee" of $200 on our product. After asking him what the 'service fee' was for he said it was for shipping. I explained to him his website said free shipping. He proceeded to tell me that no company in the world ships for free and neither do they. While he was on the phone I typed in his compaines webssite address [redacted] and proceeded to check out again to see what the shipping choices were to see if I had somehow made a mistake.. Again one of the choices was "Free shipping 14-21 days curbside delivery $0.00". [redacted] then began to explain that, that choice was dropping the TV on the curb with absolutely no prior notice. He asked me if I thought that was a good idea? Which I explained I didn't have any concerns as its your shipping policy and if you want to drop a three thousand dollar brand new TV at my curb with no notice I didn't mind since I'm protected by my credit card company. He then told me shipping was $200.00 if I wanted the TV. We went round and round and he went back and forth either claiming they don't offer free shipping that nobody in the world offers free shipping, or kept trying to say they would ship it for free and just leave it in front of house. Everytime I said fine just do that, he would go back to saying he had to charge me $200 for shipping.

We refused to pay $200 for free shipping. He hung up. We called back and cancelled the order.

Reading other reviews this is apparently the game they play as it's been reported by many others a description matching our experience.Desired Settlement: Stop with the bait and switch policy of ripping off consumers by offering free shipping and then calling the next day to strong arm them for additional fees to pay for shipping.

We are sorry to hear about this complaint. 65" plasma TVs are very fragile and are strongly recommended to increase the level of shipping. We lowered the price on the TV by the same amount the better shipping would cost. Unfortunately, this customer either did not realize this or did not understand. Once he began cursing, our customer service team refused to respond further. No individuals deserve to be cursed at or have their mother's cursed at. in addition, we did eventually offer to upgrade his shipping for free but he chose to hang up the phone.

I am more than willing to speak with the customer directly and resolve the issue with him. However, we will not accept any additional verbal assaults and disrespect.

I am rejecting this response because:

The response is just another lie. There are no offers of reduced prices for trade offs in shipping on their website. They simply offer a product for sale at the price they decide to sell their products. Upon check out you are offered shipping options, one of which is free shipping. They don't honor the free shipping, they have someone contact you by phone the next day to try to get you to pay them additional fees for shipping. If you don't offer free shipping, simply take it off as a choice upon check out.

There is no offer to reject or accept, we cancelled our order with this company once they pulled their bait and switch. We are not doing business with them.

Both of their responses demonstrates their managements lack of a response to change their policies. As of 4-2-2013 they still offer free shipping on their website and still have "No hidden fees ever!" across the top of their website pages, which obviously are both untrue based on ours and many others with similar complaints.

Yes, the customer never completed their order nor was the credit card ever processed. Again, the customer did not have to choose the upgraded shipping. By not controlling their anger and by cursing at our customer service team there is no basis to continue discussions. We wish them well in life.

Review: I placed an order on 11/13/2013 for a Yamaha RX-A3030 receiver that was supposedly "in stock" according to the company's website and representative who called the following day to tack on "insurance" and "expedited delivery" charges to the item. My Credit Card was then charged. After speaking to their only representative ([redacted]) daily to inquire about the item being shipped, he kept stating he would get a tracking number from his warehouse and call me back. After 3 days, I told him I would cancel the order and would like an immediate refund if my item was not shipped right away. He called me the next day (11/22/2013) with a bogus [redacted] tracking number that says that the shipment was initiated on 11/05/2013 and has not updated to pick up at this point (11/26/2013).Desired Settlement: The order (brand new factory sealed YAMAHA RX-A3030) should be shipped immediately with overnight shipping at the seller's expense.
