We sent Mr*** a detailed letter when he first called us on 7/20/to complain along with pictures showing him the crack in the flue tile was there when we previewed his job on 7/20/and that crack is clearly shown on the pictures sent to
him, and he was sent pictures after we had done the work he hired us to do on 8/29/which again that work was very clearly shown in the before & after pictures we sent to himHis complaint has no merit at all regardless of what another chimney cleaning company may or may not have told himAnd it had been almost a year after we had done our work on 8/29/that he called to complain and who knows what may have happened to his chimney flue during that time
There is no merit to this claim A refund check was sent to the customer on January 27, Mr*** called on January 30, 2017, and said he never received his refund check I confirmed with him the address we had, and it was incorrect I told him once we received it
back, we will send it back out to the correct address A few days later I received it and mailed it to the correct address Afterwards, Mr*** and/or his wife had called several times inquiring where the check was, we had told them we had re-sent it On February 22, 2017, it showed in our bank account that the check mailed to the ***'s was cashedNo further action is needed

The job for Mr. [redacted] was completed on November 24, 2015 and he paid $122 as reported. We did not receive any complaints or...
requests for action from Mr. [redacted] at any time after the job was completed. We keep records of all calls that come into the office and have reviewed those records. Also, we keep all the comment cards mailed in and have no record of Mr. [redacted] sending us a comment card requesting a call back.
As far as the job itself, we have digital photographs of this jobsite, before and after, in our system date and time stamped, which shows that the flue was properly cleaned. As this is the first that I have heard of this problem, seven weeks later, we will not be issuing a refund. We have the gentleman's initials on each step of the cleaning verifying that the job was done properly along with the photographs taken on that day, which include after photographs.
