Review: We contracted with Best Custom Homes to remodel 2 bathrooms in our home in 2012, the contract was signed on 04/19/2012.We purchased 2 tubs, vanity lights, tops, towel rods, mirrors, vinyl flooring and underlayment, tubs, toilets, tub drains,etc. starting the day the work was finished the upstairs tub would crack when you get in to take a shower, and still does along with the one downstairs.The contractor was contacted, he came over and stepped in the tub and heard the cracking himself and concluded this brand tub always cracks and it was installed correctly.We whnt to Home Depot where we purchased the bathrooms and asked one of the installers about that cracking and he said that it will happen when you do not fill the tub with water during the installation process and the making sure the feet under the tub are extended we add some type of installition to take care of the noise issue.The contractor has never come back and as a consumer I am VERY unhappy.Desired Settlement: We would like the contractor to come back and correct the problem because we do not believe he installed the tubs correctly.

The contractor for my bathrooms contacted me on August 3rd 2013 at approximately 11:02 A.M.
and said that he had talked with the sub-contractor and was told that
when putting the tub in, it was a tight fit and hoped everything
would work out.
There is some installation under the tub. I told
him what the Home Depot told me in putting the tub in, you need to fill
it with water and then put additional installation under the tub to take
care of the squeaking.
Another reason he called was to say he and the contractor could come out that day and fix the problem.
As of today the 14th of August 2013, he has not called again to set up a date and time to come out and finish the job he started.

Talked to [redacted] on 8/6/13. This was the first day we had any indication
that anything was wrong.
[redacted] and I agreed on a plan of action to address the squeaky
tub; although we did not set an exact date for the repair, we expect everything
to be completed by August 23, 2013.
