Review: I contacted this dealership to purchase the [redacted] A few weeks ago and spoke with [redacted]. The mecedes was listed for $11,995. [redacted] advised that he purchased the vehicle for his wife and she drove it daily. Jim and I agreed to $11,500 for the vehicle. After the agreement, [redacted] asked if I would email him my license, which I did, and He sent me a purchase order for my bank. [redacted] contacted me later to advise that the ABS light kept coming on so he had it looked at by his mechanic. He then said that ABS module was bad, he then mentioned he had purchased the part used and wanted to add the part in labor to the cost. After speaking with the mercedes dealer and a german mechanic, both stated that this car may not have been placed on the speacial computer needed for this vehicle to determin issue. I was asked if the mechanic had the computer for a mercedes which I could not answer. The dealer and German mechanic both advised that they would never put a used part on this type of vehicle. I then contacted [redacted] to advise that I would take the car and pay him for the part but I would offer $11,000 plus the cost of the part which was $400. I actually spoke with him in the bank on saturday before signing for the check. He agreed and I sent him a copy of the check. I told him I would pick up the car on sunday. Later on the night, I got a message that his ([redacted]) wife decided to keep the car. I responded that we had a verbal agreement and my documentation supports my statement. The next call I had gotten from [redacted] stated that he sold the car. For some reason I felt deception. As I monitored the website which the car to this day is still showing listed and has never been removed, however, an update to the price had been made. I had my friend stop over today and he said the car was there. Beause of [redacted]'s actions, I plan to pursue this further as his actions were un-professional.Desired Settlement: I will not pursue further if we settle at $12,000 the original price.
