Review: A man by the name of [redacted] who claims to be a paralegal in New York said that he could help me file a bankruptcy to prevent my losing my home. He said that he needed a $545 fee in order to prepare the paperwork. We literally had to take Christmas away from our kids and let our bills go. He wouldn't send the paperwork until we paid this fee in full, so we literally paid him the day before the sheriffs sale. Well he filled out all the forms incorrectly and I had to sit at the court, with a 11 month old baby and six months pregnant and refill out all the forms that he prepared. Then I was informed that he is limited to charging $100 for his services. All he did was call our creditor to tell them our case number and then he said to call him back if we need him again. Our understanding was that he was going to negotiate with our creditor. He basically said see you later, call me if you need me for anything else. He then said that we could get additional service for another $345 discounted rate. He didn't do anything for us, and charged us an illegal fee. When we told him we found out he was overcharging us, he suddenly tried to be helpful, but I found out I could have originally did the whole thing myself, he is a ripoff.Desired Settlement: I believe that he should return the $445 he overcharged us.

Review: On April [redacted], 2014 I paid [redacted] to provide a service for me. He defrauded me of $195.00 and I get nothing for my money. This was a deceptive business practice and misleading and false advertising over the internet.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my $195.00 .
