A person gets an outside monitoring system tobe safe, not to go off for no reasonSeveral times there were repair men out here and said it is the enviroment It could not be fixed so they put in heat censers because the smoke alarms would NOT work they were going off for no reasonI want all my money backIm sure Best Defence would be paying alot more money if there would of been a fire because the heat censers do not go off until a certain temp is reachedAlso stamped right on the bottom it states " not a life saving device" smoke alarms are used to save lives

Review: The alarm service person, [redacted], came to repair the fire alarm system. However, he did not repair the fire alarm. There were two lights on in the fire system that should not be on. [redacted] came out to investigate the problem and said there will be $125 fee for the initial visit, but if we let their company repair the problem, the $125 fee would be waived. Once he investigated the problem, he said we needed to replace the fire panel and that would be $ 538. Once he came to fix the problem, he said we needed 2 batteries for $50, which they had just replace the batteries less than a year prior. He also updated the tags on the fire extinguishers for $6 per extinguisher, and we have 3. He said the total price would not be more than $690. Two days after the service person left, the faulty lights on the alarm system came back on. Yet, they sent a bill considerably more than $690 they sent a bill for $928.22. I called the company approximately 6 times to resolve the problem. They said they would send a different bill reflecting the lower price of $690. They never did. Then after calling numerous times to discuss that the problem was not fixed, they said you still have to pay us, and if we come out again we will charge you again. I said I would like to talk to the owner, [redacted], and he said if we come out to fix the problem we will charge you again, and you must pay the total bill. I spoke with the technical person at the manufacture of the alarm system, and he said [redacted] should not replaces the panel before checking fire alarm lights and pull stations checking those items first would effectively repaired the problem for a much lower price, and he recommended hiring another company.Desired Settlement: Since the company did not repair the system , they should charge us $125 for first visit and $18 dollars for updating the tags for the fire extinguishers

I do see in our system that the bill was credited for the entire amount pending resolution. We apologized for any inconvenience and want to resolve this asap. I will follow up with customer today to make sure there is complete resolution

We are in receipt of

complaint ID [redacted]. I have attached our signed work orders from the

customer. Not only did the customer call and order the service work on a

system we did not install

for them, they then authorized the repair and indicated they were 100%

happy with the work. The system was fully tested and was working at

the time of completion as clearly indicated on the attached work orders.

This is clearly a case

of a customer who doesn't want to pay a bill even though they were

provided a quality service. Best Defense is filing an immediate claim

for damages related to the work

performed as well as compensatory damages for damage to our reputation.
