Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The business's response just keeps proving my point that they don't understand what customer service isI discussed with employees my expectation that there be one piece and both times those employees assured me the counter would be done in one pieceThe business is also showing a lack of candor because I chose this granite style from a whole slab not a remnant and I know from another employee they had also ordered more because of its popularityThe business continues to discuss how they made decisions about my counter without discussing it with me and giving me an opportunity to make decisions They consistently did not communicate with me and caused me financial hardship because I had to go back and forth from Rehoboth, DE and Washington, DC due to their incorrect measurements and lack of communicationI had to take off work and pay the gas to get back and forth The information they provided in the response was never communicated to me until the day they showed up with two pieces and I talked to an employee over the phone after I had already been dealing with this company for over a monthThey had a month to convey this informationThis demonstrates their poor understanding of customer service which is why I made a complaint to the Revdex.com I should be compensated for the poor customer service and the difficulties they put me throughI felt threatened by their offer on the day of the installation since they basically said they would leave me with no counter after I had already wasted nearly months with them and they knew I had rental season comingThis is not a business I would recommend to anyoneMy original request stands at $because they still have not responded to the customer service issues I described in my original complaint

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business's response just keeps proving my point that they don't understand what customer service is. I discussed with 2 employees my expectation that there be one piece and both times those employees assured me the counter would be done in one piece. The business is also showing a lack of candor because I chose this granite style from a whole slab not a remnant and I know from another employee they had also ordered 3 more because of its popularity. The business continues to discuss how they made decisions about my counter without discussing it with me and giving me an opportunity to make decisions.  They consistently did not communicate with me and caused me financial hardship because I had to go back and forth from Rehoboth, DE and Washington, DC due to their incorrect measurements and lack of communication. I had to take off work and pay the gas to get back and forth.
The information they provided in the response was never communicated to me until the day they showed up with two pieces and I talked to an employee over the phone after I had already been dealing with this company for over a month. They had a month to convey this information. This demonstrates their poor understanding of customer service which is why I made a complaint to the Revdex.com.
I should be compensated for the poor customer service and the difficulties they put me through. I felt threatened by their offer on the day of the installation since they basically said they would leave me with no counter after I had already wasted nearly 2 months with them and they knew I had rental season coming. This is not a business I would recommend to anyone. My original request stands at $400 because they still have not responded to the customer service issues I described in my original complaint.

Attached is the drawing provided by the customer that he asked us to fabricate with a granite named Super White, is also almost super expensive . We agreed to fabricate this from a piece we called remnant. Not quite a remnant, see dimensions ...anyway we charged him a remnant price. We had to make...

it in two pieces, that was the only way we would not waste too much stone. If you look at the piece you will realize how much waste it would entail had we cut it in one piece. He wou ld not pay the price for one piece because customer sees only how much stone is needed for this job , not how much waste involved . Yes, we could cut this in one piece buy cutting a whole slab and price would have been twice as much. He would n't pay that.
We get customers like this and sometimes it is hard for them to understand why there would be so much waste for a particular shape, or some
don't want to understand. •
Nevertheless, I further discounted for another $200 .00. and still not happy. I did not make money here and he still calls Revdex.com. He wanted half off?? This is expensive stone and a lot of labor involved, if l gave him half off I would be losing money. Then, why are we working if we can't make a living.
These days, everybody wants too much for very little or nothing. We work very hard here and we are trying to make living within our means. Thank you for listening.

Review: We had granite counter tops installed in our kitchen on Nov.20th.Part of our contract was to have plumbing performed by their own plumber. He didn't come the day of our granite install. Came the next day(Nov.21st) and we noticed the faucet was not tightened and wobbled when we moved it, the strainer did not fit the sink and stopped the water from going down the drain and the garbage disposal leaked when we used it. We spoke to [redacted] at Best Granite to report the issues 4 times that day and was told the plumber would be back the next day(Nov.22nd). Got a call from [redacted] Nov.22nd and said the plumber only had 1 place to take care of that day and would be there sometime in the afternoon. We waited all day and he never came so we called Best Granite and had to leave a phone message saying he never came. No call from them that day or Nov. 23rd even though they were open for business both of those times.

We sent an email to Best Granite on Nov.24th asking for the $250.00 we paid for a plumber to be refunded to us because we ended up spending the weekend trying to fix his problems (since our calls weren't being answered or returned).Desired Settlement: We want the $250.00 plumbing charge returned to us.

Review: I agreed to have a granite counter installed in my rental property and at the time of exchanging money for the counter during the estimate and subsequent instances when measurements were taken it was communicated to me that it would be installed in one piece. The company had to make two sets of measurements and they showed up 4 hours late to one of the appointments after I called to complain. The second appointment I had to call them multiple times to find out when they would actually show up to redo the measurements. It was never communicated to me that they decided to change their mind and bring the counter in 2 pieces which was different from what I was paying for. In addition, it took lots and lots of phone calls over a month period to get to the point where they were going to install bringing the project timeline right up to rental season. The company never took initiative to communicate with me. I live 2.5 hours from the house where the counter was installed and I was forced to take additional time off work and spend money on gas to go back and forth dealing with their poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I think the company should offer a 50% discount due to their false representation and to compensate for the multiple trips and time off work I had to take during this whole ordeal since the company did not provide the option of redoing it one piece. It's as if this company thinks they are not expected to communicate with their customers and provide good service.
