Guest had a res thru booking.com for nightGuest showed up and checked into a room which they were in and used then later that evening came back to switch rooms since they were unhappy with the room they were inAfter switching them rooms they starting complaining the room was not clean so we called in a house keeper since by this time they had all gone home and had the room cleanedThe guest stayed the full days of the reservation, if they were displeased we could have refunded the second night if they had checked outThey were here tho for nights as per the reservation and we went out of our way to help them and to solve all issues as they came upSo we had informed the guest that we could offer them a discount since it did not meet their expectations but would not do a Full refund since the rooms were used and all amenities that provided by the hotel (Breakfast, shuttle, cookies ect)

Guest stated she was overcharged for her stayWe asked the guest for a copy of the bank statement showing the charges to be sure we get the correct amount backA total of was refunded back to the guestShe called again a few days later and said she is still due back another Guest
was informed that with the bank statement she had provided that only the was overcharged but if she had additional paperwork showing the extra we would be able to refund it, shortly after that she started this complaint with the Revdex.com,

One room was paid is cash at the time of checkout in the amt of 295.68 the hotel charged this to my account, after talking to them the 1st time this is the amount that was refunded to my card. The other rooms charge was the same 295.68 that's what should only have been charged to my account they charged a total of 492.80 that's a difference of 197.12 that is still owed to me. What they did is refunded the amount I paid in cash but they did not refund the 197.12 they still over charged me. I have my credit card statement to provide If needed to confirm the amount they still overcharged me. I have also put I dispute in with my credit card company to try and resolve this as well.Thank you

I do not recommend anyone stay at this hotel look at my pics they may be currently under construction which they never mentioned in their ad. I was given a room in which I felt unsafe for my children to even be in not including the missing wall which you could hear people on the side walk talking and every car. I asked for another room initially and was told they were booked solid with no other options but when I refused the room he found another under a stair well that had a musty smell. Sat on the bed which sounded like an air mattress so decided to actually check since it even felt weird. When I pulled up sheets and covers the mattress had a black substance on it like mold and the room smelled musty with zero air. I looked in the bathroom and ended up killing a misquote in the tub while looking. Now they are refusing to give me a refund and I'm sure they may have still rented the room to some other suckers who didn't speak up with no loss to them. Since people were calling for rooms while I was checking in; they offered 30% off my next visit, are they kidding me if I'm not staying now why in the hell would I stay in the future. I want a full refund end of story stay away from this shaddy motel. Yes I used a third party site but they have no problem doing a refund and only need this place to authorize the return of fees. Maybe the state health department or OSHA needs to do a site check. Please help me get my entitled refund by sharing my story.
This is an example of the service they provide told me to call in morning to talk to accounting when did they were already gone. Tried to call around 1 to speak with management was told they would not be in till 330; called back at 430 was told the manager left at 330. So asked when I called previously I was lied to about someone being there? Now told to call tomorrow between 7 and 3 now after I've now left at minimum 2 messages they only time you avoid someone is when you know you're in the wrong! Just gives me more time to notify people of the problems they have.

In March of 2016, my family and I began planning a family trip to California. We made a reservation at Best Host Inn in Buena Park Ca. The reservation was to be paid at the hotel and a no cost cancelation as long as you cancelled at least 24 hours prior to your visit. On 3/20/2016 I was charged half the cost of the reservation for my intended September 2016 stay. I had no idea that the hotel was going to do this. When I called them regarding the transaction, I was told that it was to hold the room and that it would be refunded in full if I cancelled within the allotted time frame. I cancelled my reservation in June of 2016. However, when I contacted my bank to confirm the credit, I was told that it should have been ran as an authorization not a sale, so that I wasn’t charged interest for the transaction. However, the hotel charged it as a transaction, that I did not authorize. However, my bank said that since they did refund the payment, they couldn’t dispute it at this point and I am stuck paying the interest. After contacting the hotel I was told they couldn’t help me at all and I got hung up on. I want everyone to be aware that if you plan to stay at this hotel, they are running your card as a sale and not as an authorization, which is what it should be. I now have to pay over $60 to my bank for service I will never use because the hotel doesn’t know how to process an authorization to secure a room. Due to the original transaction amount being credited, I have no way to be cleared from the interest that was charged. I feel that I was ripped off from Chase and Best Host Inn in Buena Park Ca due to Best Host Inn not processing the hold for the room correctly.

We processed back the 50 dep to her card endind in [redacted] back on 7-8-14. I was unaware that there was a 2nd dep as well so that one was refunded today. Both are attached to this email.

Review: I stayed with The Best Host Inn 07/03/14 and checked out 07/04/14. Hotel policy states that I would be charged a $50 deposit, upon check out I would be credited back. When I checked my account

07/07/14 I noticed 2 $50 charges made to my debit card. I contacted Best Host Inn 07/07/14 and spoke to Albert who asked that I fax my bank statement showing both deposits. I faxed and received a phone call from

the manager [redacted] he left a voicemail apologizing for the inconvenience, and assured me that my card would be credited, credit of $50 was made to my account on 07/09/14. I emailed [redacted] again on 07/13/14 telling him that I had not received credit for the second $50 charge on my debit card, he responded via email on 07/15/14 saying that 2nd $50 was credited back to my card and it should take 3 to 5 business days for it to go thru. I emailed him again on 07/30/14 advising him that no credit had been made to my account yet, and to this date I have not received a reply back. I emailed [redacted] Moeller again today advising him of the action that I would be taking. This is going for a month now and I keep getting the run around. I have been more than patient. I would like to file a complaint against the BEST HOST INN in Buena Park

Never in my life have I had such an experience like this one.Desired Settlement: I would like to be credited the 2nd $50 deposit charge that was made to my card by Best Host Inn.

Review: This hotel has double charged my credit card for the rooms I reserved I have sent them a dispute letter with the charges that need to be refunded total of almost $492.24 in this letter sent I requested to be contacted once they received it. They never contacted me. I then called them 5 days after I sent this letter to find out that they will only refund me $297. Is incorrect they overcharged me $492.24 I have called and left 5 messages for the manager "[redacted] " to call me regarding this matter over the past 2 weeks and I have still not received a call regarding this matter. They will not return my calls or refund the money that they over charged me. I would like a call from someone at this hotel that can help me. The last 5 times I called not one person that answered the phone could help me or find out what was going on. I had to leave a message every time for the general manager to call me.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of what the hotel over charged my credit card not just part of the charges. For what I have been thru with them they should comp the full amount they charged to my credit card.
