Review: I paid my january premium but was never given materials or a number all month long. I paid for insurance and was barred from access to the insurance I bought. I contacted the company 3 times by phone, all 3 times I was lied to about materials coming that week and each time was denied access to information necessary to create an online account or use the insurance at local dentists. Reps for the company ignored or put off questions about access or if they would or how they process and determine claims.

I have also initialized an investigation of them via the Federal marketplace.Desired Settlement: I will not pay them one more dollar until there is some resolution. My faith has been decimated, I am unsure I can trust a company that cant supply a number or materials to cover claims correctly or at all. Having seen their F rating, I believe they might be a fraudulant company or a fake company.

I am owed a month or my money back for the month I had zero access to my insurance I paid for with them. I would need access to my information so I could use the insurance. I would need my materials and information and access to my online account where I can see my payments, my claims, make payments safely, and keep track. I need to see proof that the company will process and cover claims completely and quickly according to the benefits I was given in sales materials without any hassle or argument.

I may need to cancel and seek coverage from a reputable company if they cannot meet the basic metrics necessary to qualify as reputable.

Review: Hello,I have been trying to speak with a representative for a couple weeks now in regards to my dental insurance that I signed up for through healthcare.gov. Every time I call their customer service line, I end up holding for 10 minutes before a woman answers and then puts me on hold again. I then sit on hold for over 30min and no one answers!!!! I have paid my premium for March & April and I was given my dental id over the phone and told that I would receive my insurance card in the mail. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY CARD!!And when I try to set up an appointment with an office that is supposedly under your program, they state that they have never heard of BEST Life dental insurance.For a company that is supposed to be there for their customer especially when it's offered through a GOVERNMENT program, this company is horrible. Absolutely horrible!!!!Desired Settlement: I want both my March and April Premium refunded back to me immediately. I no longer want to be a part of this horrible company.

Review: This is the worst insurance company. The web site never works, I get invoices for bills I've already paid, the phone line is always down and when I can get through on that rare occasion, the phone just rings and rings and then disconnects or else I'm on hold for up to an hour. It's like the company is some scam or something. I will be canceling my dental insurance with themDesired Settlement: They should be put out of business and/or investigated for fraud. However, I will settle for a full refund of all the premiums I have paid since January 2014 totaling $180.00. I can only imagine the service I would get (or not get) if I had an actual dental claim. I am making this claim on behalf of [redacted] (Customer #: [redacted]) since I pay all the bills for him and I signed him up for this dental insurance via the ACA Marketplace. What a mistake that turned out to be.

Review: I required dental insurance for a short period of time, which turned out to be 1 month and enrolled with Best Life. I had a scheduled routine dental appt. in January. I made payment through Paypal and showed confirmation of payment. My dental office processed the claim multiple times with no response from Best Life. They emailed, faxed, tried to call but no one would answer. Finally, Best Life responded in March and told them I was not covered as they did not receive payment. I tried to call and emailed twice showing proof of payment and still they have not paid my dental claim. I have now paid for insurance and my dental visit equaling $251.93.I can't resolve the issue with Best Life, because they will not respond to phone calls or emails.Desired Settlement: I would like Best Life to accept my claim, as I paid for insurance and provide payment to my dentist so they can refund my money. I believe this is the point of insurance.

Review: I signed up for dental insurance in December of 2013, with an effective date of 01/01/2014. I started making dental appointments in 2014 that accepted the new coverage that I had through Best Life. It's almost April (4 months later) and I have not received absolutely any information pertaining to my dental insurance other than a premium; that I paid for 3 months even though I haven't received any information. Needless to say, that I have been paying for my dental appointments out of pocket. Which has totaled close to $900. I have called several times and spoke with different representatives pertaining to this issue. Every time I spoke with someone they stated that it takes 2 weeks to receive your card in the mail and they will send me an email pertaining to the information; I never received anything other than a premium! and the premium do not have a member ID on it! Not to mention that every time I call I have to wait for an hr to speak to someone. At this point I am furious and fed up with the lack of service I have received.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my insurance card so I can provide my dental office with my insurance information so that I may be reimbursed the $900 that I have spent out of pocket for my dental appointments.

Review: I've purchased a Dental Insurance plan with this company over a month ago and have paid my premiums and still have yet to get my insurance card(s) in the mail. I've called them and complained to be rudely told that I would receive my information next week. Well, it's been a month. I refuse to pay anything more than I have until something is done about this, and will recommend everyone I know to not do business with them. I feel like I should get my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like for my insurance cards as well as a copy of my policy mailed to me as soon as possible. If I don't receive anything by the middle of March, I will be dropping my policy with them, and demand a refund of my money for not receiving the coverage that I've paid for.

Review: I paid my first months premium to Best Life and Health Insurance Companyand get nothing I have contacted there list of providers in my area and they claim they have never heard of the company, this is for dental insurance, I have also called Best Life a number of times and all you get is disconnected or no one answered the phone. I have emailed, and faxed and get no answer. I have received my next months premium bill for witch I have not paid. I asked for a refund of $47.17 and have heard nothing.Desired Settlement: Refund of $47.17

Review: I was sent a bill from BEST life under the guise of the healthcare AKA Obamacare. Because I had signed up for the new healthcare, I paid the amount to instate this new insurance. When I was sent a bill from the original bill, I called customer service at Best life, requesting my $32.65 be reinstated, I was put on hold for over an hr., then hung up on. I then tried to call later on that day, but was put on hold again. I then sent an email on 01-03-2014 again requesting my money be returned or I would report this to Revdex.com, I have not yet heard back. I did do a follow up this morning before sending this, but again, heard nothing back. All I want is for my money be returned, as I am on a fixed income.Desired Settlement: I would request my money be returned. The account # is [redacted]. The check cashed through online banking was ck.#[redacted], confirmation #[redacted] and was paid on 12/31/13. My bank is aware of this, as I have informed them of this situation.

Review: In January I contacted them by email to find out how to make a payment, being that their website was a little confusing, they responded within a couple of days and I made the payment. Since then I have not been able to reach them. I've called them several times and only one time did I even get an answer, and when I did I was promptly put on hold for thirty minutes, and then I couldn't wait any longer when I finally hung up. I have emailed them at least five times, on when my card would arrive, or how to use the insurance in the interim, and I have received no responses. I have given them more than enough time to answer, some of those emails are months old at this point.Desired Settlement: I would like the $33.19 I paid for the initial premium payment back and part ways with this company. If I can never contact, nor be able to use this insurance, then they have not filled their end of the deal.

Review: Paid through Blue Cross Blue Shield initially but somehow this company got my information and sent a premium due statement. I paid it and then discovered they were not involved with Blue Cross Blue Shield. I lost 192.00 to them. Now trying to get it back.Desired Settlement: full refund and any additional cost to get this resolved. I have fees to pay to trace the Money Order. I may take Legal Actions.

Review: I'm writing to complain that I have been trying to get my dental coverage through Best Life. I finally received a bill and tried to call them as they billed me for a month prior to getting my coverage. I can only get a receptionist on the phone who has now put me on hold (3 phone calls) for a total time of 1 hour and 37 minutes. I have given the receptionist my phone number twice now trying to get a call back from someone who can help me but have received no calls.I want to have dental insurance and I want to pay my bill but do not want to pay a bill for a period in which they told me I didn't have coverage. I cannot get anyone to help. All I can get is a receptionist who puts me on hold or takes my number but I get no call back and nobody picks it up when I'm on hold.Desired Settlement: I would like to actually be contacted by someone who can help me pay my bill and start the coverage in the appropriate month.I also want some assurance that they will be available if I have claims questions but if it is this hard to give them money, I would imagine it is even harder to get them to pay claims.

Review: I purchased an individiual dental insurance policy the latter part of January 2014 for $39.92 for insurance coverage beginning on March 1, 2014. I never received the insurance card or any info. I repeatedly contacted the company for the next 4 weeks with either excuses for why the insurance card was late arriving or telling me it 'was in the mail'. I did get a copy of my cashed check I had mailed to them from my bank. At the end of March I finally requested a refund since they could not get their act together and kept blaming the Affordable Care Act....even tho I did not purchase thru the Healthcare.gov web site. I was told by email that a refund would be issued. I still have not received my refund and they are not answering their phones. If they do answer I am put on hold for at least 30 minutes upon which I give up before using all my cell phone minutes on this worthless company.Desired Settlement: Refund my money that I paid for the dental insurance I never received. $39.92 is due to me.

Review: I have been dealing with this insurance company for over a month and have never spoken to a human being once, I signed up on the health insurance marketplace for my dental and paid my premium on 03/15 and have not received any medical cards or let alone aphone call about my insurance. Whenever you try and call this company it seems as if they are hanging the phone up on you and I even sent an email to the customer service department and its been almost two months and have not heard from anyone. I would really like to just be done with this company as they are preventing me from using my dental insurance and I am not getting any services for what I paid.Desired Settlement: Please refund my 44.00 premium I paid so I can go to a more reliable dental company please.

Review: Applied for dental insurance coverage I early December on site that claimed to be Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Received a bill for 94.34 from BEST Life and Health which I paid.Since then I have called 5 times and am put on hold for so long that the battery in my phone has gone dead. NO ONE ANSWERS!! I have also e-mailed twice to request cancellation and a refund.....totally ignored. Called Blue Cross Blue Shield and was told that they are not affiliated with a company called BEST life.I believe this to be a scam.Desired Settlement: This company (if,in fact, it IS a company,should not be allowed to hack into Blue Cross Blue Shield. Review: These people are really hard to get any benefit information out of. Or, to get a hold of period. The dentist office we use has filed a claim with them three times in several weeks to get information. They still have not been told any and has had a hard time with this company for several other people. This company is ridiculous on how they are handling anything. You are on hold for over an hour or more. Takes a while for anyone from customer service to answer email. Something needs to change and soon! Never had this much trouble with an insurance company.Desired Settlement: Like I said earlier above, this place is ridiculous. I would like them to apologize to us and to the dentist office for their slackness on our claim as well as others they are supposed to be taking care of. It needs to be in writing and a phone call as well.

I have reviewed the complaint regarding this filing. I was unable to contact this member via phone, but did send an email outlining what we can do to resolve the issue.

Review: When I contacted this company, I was quoted a specific amount. After my first payment, my next billing included an unpaid balance of $4.06. I contact the company and the representative instructed me to simply pay the amount I was quoted and not to worry. He had verified my address information. OK, so we pay the amount as quoted and the next months billing comes and we are now billed for two unpaid amounts with a total of $8.12. I called the number on the billing and it's been disconnected. I searched the website and found a phone number and called that number. Horrible phone lines as you cannot even hear the representative you are speaking with. This has happened each time, so it is not simply an issue with one reps headset or that particular call. So, onto the billing issue. The second time I called, the representative explained that it was due to my address indicating I was in Lee County and this resulted in the rate difference. I explained that I live in Harnett County. Very difficult to work with the representative, because of the bad phone line so I asked to speak to a supervisor. She took my information and indicated a supervisor would call back. It's been 3 days and no phone call. I sent an email the same day, still no reply to the email. I called today, 4/17/14, and again bad phone line so the representative simply disconnected. When I sent the email, I included a website that provides USPS ZIP code information, indicating we are in Harnett County. This is based on our street address. I am trying to get them to update their county information and adjust my billing. This company was obtained using the government healthcare benefits website. I would like them to resolve this issue.
