Extremely rude manager
I was getting quotes for moving companies and I spoke with the owner of the company and he seemed nice and told me a quote for the month of December. As I was quoted a lower price he offered me to speak with a moving manager to see if they can offer a quote match and the man first said yes we can match it but the rate he quoted did not go down. I asked the man if he can send me an email with the quote and he said no that is a verbal quote. I asked him why they cannot send an email quote and he just hung up on me with no explanation. This was the worst customer service I have experienced through my moving company search. All they wanted was a sale and once I did not want to pay the deposit he just hung up on me. Beware of this company.

We offered this customer two months ago under the basis that she would close this caseHowever, she chose not to accept this offer and instead preferred to take action via the Attorney Generals office and FBI Internet Crime Complaint CenterFurther, please ask her how we can refund her credit card as I believe her card has been closed Best, Amit

Review: On May 28, 2015 this company was contracted to facilitate a content move from my home in Union to my new residence in Elizabeth. The quote I received was a 3-hr minimum (3 men/1 truck) for $330. and it INCLUDED travel time. My contents did not consist of more than a 1 bedroom apt and the majority the contents were a box move. The representative for Best Movers did not honor the quote, extorted money from me and did not complete the move as agreed; leaving my contents outside the residence for myself and my family to complete. The representatives broke several tiles in the kitchen/livingroom, an ironing board and charged me $385 for 2.5 hours of work. Of the three men only 1.5 completed the move.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $55, a refund for the ironing board and repair of the broken tiles. I am also seeking punitive damages (possibly in court) for harassment as they came back to the home after leaving inciting a riot because they were not gifted a tip. The police were notified and my statement was taken.

Review: I established an agreement with Best Movers (aka: MVD Movers) to transport my household goods on 26 June 2013. I arranged one month in advance for 3 laborers and a truck. The night before the move, I received a call informing me that 3 men were inadequate and an additional laborer would be required - at an additional cost - though no-one from Best Movers had inspected my property. I reluctantly agreed.

The day of the move, payment was required in advance of the move - not something to which I had agreed.

20 to 25 percent of the time required for the move consisted of smoke-breaks for the laborers - at my expense.

One of the laborers for whose services I had pre-paid departed before the move was complete.

I was not allowed to inspect the empty trucks at the end of the move and no inventory was taken.

I have personal property that was damaged and I am missing property from the move.

Repeated requests for a claim form have gone un-answered since 4 July.Desired Settlement: I require compensation for the property damaged and for the property lost by Best Movers.
